I dont know how accurate this is but it make sense we have been linked with all 3players. Breust is from n.s.w and ceglar was spotted on a plane there yesterday.

I'm a bit torn, I would hate to lose Punky, but that may not be the worst deal if we got Wingard with our first next year and a fringe player.

Don't rate that trade, Breust is one of the most durable and consistent players in the AFL. I wouldn't want him anywhere near a deal for a 28 year old who got hobbled this year and a guy who has had 3 knee reconstructions and will miss a lot of next year.

You have to be prepared to give up class in 1 area to gain class in a weak error without high draft picks it's the only way so
hypothetically be prepared to lose a gunston or breust.
Scully one of the fittest players the comp ever seen you will get 4-5 solid years.

Because your midfield would be mitchell,omerea,shiel. Your wingers are the two fittest in the comp smith,Scully.

Your forward line would have burton and burgoyne moved there with birchall returning possibly scrimshaw. burgoyne could play forward with that midfield.

This is actually a pretty reasonable trade for both parties & would explain interest in Amon & the possibility of getting Chad.
Breust & Greene would be a devastating combo up forward, they get a ruck & first round pick; loose a mid that they can cover, a forward that has had a bad run & a possible change of scenery would do wonders aaa& they offload an aging wingman who they can also cover for less $$$.

Hawks get their man.
Get a power forward.
Have a partner for Smith & a fresh look at a premiership.

Not to mention a future first to bring in “The Chad” with some steak knife sweeteners.

LOL... trading Breust was bound to come up at some stage.

None of the above will happen as that specific package.

....but who really knows?
