Anthony Stevens won one playing with a broken ankle.
12 kicks, 1 mark, 1 tackle - hardly a world beater that day.
Why would the dogs bother playing players not match fit in a meaningless home and away fixture?

I heard 8-12, but those others could have been fringe players. Still, 5 players out of 22 is a good percentage of your team, surely even you could tell the difference between playing a 3/4 strength team and a full strength team against Geelong. Unfortunately we're not good enough to carry 5 players against one of the best teams ever.
I'm sorry, but Cooney/Hudson/Harbrow compared to Jones/Roughy/Wood is a bit of a noticable difference. Like I said, we're not good enough to carry sick passengers against Geelong.
I won't go on about Brisbane's recent form, but I don't think you have any right to question how the Bulldogs are travelling right about now.
They had it against us last week too, probably worse...Bulldogs always seem to have a virus shoot through their camp every week they come up against one of the contenders.
Weird...
Case in point.
Inability to accept reality: some teams like North are blooding loads of youngsters and will be premiership threats very soon.
The Dogs are a middle of the road bunch who get shown up against quality with monotonous regularity.
You'll bottom out again soon and then build another semi final winning list.
This morning Brad Johnson said nobody was sick, a few were for last week's game but none for last nights.

North keep hanging their hats on this fact about their youngsters but outside one or two they are all very average our youngsters are better than them
Yep.
We'll lose the 1st week of finals. Win the 2nd. Lose in a pre-lim.
Rinse, and repeat in 2011.
and yet the captain todays says NO ONE was affected by illness.
to be honest, Brisbane has absolutely nothing to do with this thread.
