Anyone who has read Andrew Jennings’ work on the rise of Joao Havelange to power within FIFA would surely see some similarities with Andy D. Unfortunately the equivalent journalist/author of Jennings in the AFL world either doesn’t exist or would probably be discarded (“who cares what Patrick Smith has to say anyway”)

The AFL have had journos in their pockets for years so the truth about the Fat Man will take a long time to come out.

Whats the latest on this case? Aquire learning etc. john wall in jail yet?
Met him a few months ago, pre Covid, at a holiday resort and didnt realise who he was at the time. Due to the pandemic many cases have been delayed so suggest he is still walking the streets

Did he try swindle ya?

Loves to feather his own nest. When he left the players association, they were locked into a pretty hefty lease in some very nice office space.
Rumour has it that one of Andys companies owned the property.
Nothing would surprise me what Fat Andy would to feather his own nest.
He's lower than a snakes belly and has the morals of a sewer rat

The board of Crown Resorts misled investors in a release to the market and newspaper advertisement last year that claimed its most infamous high-roller gambling partner, Suncity, was controlled by a regulated Hong Kong firm.

The board put out the market release and advertisement on July 31, 2019 in response to a series of stories in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and 60 Minutes that pointed out that Crown casino's licensed junket operators had links to organised crime, drug and sex trafficking and money laundering.

Mr Preston said he and the board were made aware of errors in the statement in the days after the ASX announcement but they had not corrected it to his knowledge. It is unlawful for a listed company or its officers to provide materially false or misleading information to the Australian Stock Exchange. There is no suggestion the board intended the statement to be misleading.

You are 100% correct. For a man who had an opinion on how sports should be run in Australia he's gone very quiet.
In my opinion he was fully aware of the Bombers situation from day one, and wasn't the 3 strike rule brought in under his watch?
Even if it wasn't he kept it in place as in my opinion he was aware of the games drug problems and Money First Andy didn't want anything becoming public knowledge that might affect HIS INCOME.
Really it's a simple exercise to draw the dot's

Watson loses heaps of weight
Wins Brownlow
Turns out the mad scientist helped with some peptide/drug whatever
Meanwhile vitamin company stays in the loop
It all comes out
All duck for cover
Goes to wada where players are defended by
President of a football clubs son
That club wins the flag

Who would be surprised if
A add campaign was already set up
Used and endorsed by AFL,AFL club and the face of it all in the he add would be

Pure speculation off course
