it's ok.

another 20/20 world cup is just around the corner in feb 2026.

that'll make it 4 20/20 world cups in just under 4 and a half years.
That's just plain silly & shows how much more significant & prestigious winning the 50 over World Cup is.

Speaking about the future of all the formats, I wouldn't be mad if there was a reduction in T20I's played. When you have a situation where some of the best players in the world at T20 cricket such as Stokes, Warner, Kohli and Rohit (heard somewhere QDK as well) have retired internationally, but are all still playing leagues around the world. It poses the question as to how T20I's are regarded by players (outside of world cups of course). The amount of second string teams that are sent on tours re-inforces this.

scotland and netherlands - it's daylight between them and next best italy
PNG
canada
nepal and U.A.E (to replace Oman)
namibia and zimbabwe (to replace Uganda), - would like to see Kenya back in the fold though

Kenya aren't going anywhere forward for a while. They are genuinely terrible (in comparison to Kenyan teams of years gone by.)
