If Geelong lose to Brisbane this week...

I love it how the Geelong supporters on BigFooty pretend the wheels have fallen off and in doing so makes them look even more arrogant

I'm glad you enjoy it, this should also tickle your fancy - the Cats will win comfortably this week and not drop a final.

Do you like apples or grapes?

Absolute shoe in.

The boys will want some good form into September, all guns blazing I predict a comfortable win, have a good night sleep then jump on a plane back home.

First class, toe-warmer for Mooney and Jimmy on fluids only.

I almost feel sorry for Brisbane this week... It ain't going to be a pretty end to their season.

I love how weagles fans are starting thread after thread showing their desperate hope that we fail...

Get over it losers and wait for the finals..

Good point! Can you believe Eagles supporters on these boards would dare suggest that other supporters might be arrogant? No supporters, and I mean no supporters, rate their team as highly as the Eagles supporters. Anyone would think they were in the middle of an 8 straight flag dynasty they way they wax on. I find the Geelong supporters (on the whole) to be pretty circumspect.

They are, vut i would also say on the whole the Eagles supporters are not as bad as theya re made out to be.

When you're team is on top, NOTHING you say or do matters because it is looked upon in a negative light.

Going into September with 2 losses on the trot wouldn't be good form, but the key will be how we play. Whether we win or lose, I'd like to see us go out hard and play our top brand of footy. If we play crap footy and still win, I'd be disappointed, if we play great footy and lose (not sure how, perhaps Brown will have one of those days) then I'd be happy.

I can't speak for the players, but if Geelong lose to Brisbane this weekend I will be feeling very nervous going into finals, particularly if we face the vary dangerous Hawks in week-1 (a team we have lost to in the past three encounters). Yes I'll be very nervous indeed :( .

yep, they will be wearing those handbags

Which players are you referring to smartarse? Chapman? Milburn? Bartel? Corey? Pretty damn sure I see them at the bottom of packs every single week. Not exactly a sign of soft players I would have thought.

Even allowing for the high level of stupidity of posts on this site, this one is right up there. So losing on Saturday night would be bad for us? Wow. That's so enlightening - I thought it would be good.

Then again, for 15 weeks we've been told by various morons that we needed to have a loss, all of a sudden losing is bad again. How informative.

Its mainly jealousy because we will go into finals with a full, fit and firing squad. And most other teams wont.

Alot of Crows fans making noise when their team isnt even assured of finals, seems like they are trying a diversion.

Geelong wont be impressed with the loss last weekend, but a loss like that is often a pretty damn good motivational tool.

Well I guess this is a chance for the cats to show it was just a bump in the road rather than the sudden decline of their season.

But then again there is not much to gain from the win, the motivation factor will be a lot less than Brisbane if they somehow are a chance to make the finals come Saturday night.

It was strange as to how Roos acted in his press conference yesterday, he didn't seem all that fussed to lose vs Hawthorn as there was a whole lot to gain, he seemed to be more focussed on week 1 of the finals.
