I'd have to say Cats v Blues 1995. What with the salary cap "issues", Ablett deserving a GF, and poor luckless Geelong of that era in general, I would have loved to see the Catties get up. I don't like the fact that it would leave the Bombers clear at the top of the total premierships table, but I guess you can't have it all.

2nd place goes to 1928 Richmond v Collingwood to break up the 4 in a row Pies flags.

Nicky Winmar's dad passed away in the week leading up to the grand final despite trying to hold on to see his son play in the big game. The saints lost the game as well and poor Nicky and St Kilda suffered two heart breaks in the same week.

Maybe the 1989 GF?? Although I consider that to be the best GF of all time. In hindsight GOD kicking a goal after the siren would have been great. The Hawks have too many anyways.
