I'm disappointed with Channel 10's coverage ....

its great coverage , bad commentary ... wish 08 went this long... they are showing lots of scenes .. crowds , rooms , discussion , coaches conference... and still going.
channel 7 were so stingy they didnt even show the song in the rooms .. they had to show us in the news.

They are also doing ongoing stuff on Ten-HD, geez would of loved that last year.
All we got last year in the way of aftermath stuff was what channel 7 showed us between ads, minus the footy song and The Sunday Footy Show, on channel 9 mind you. That was it.
Agree commentary wasn't great, if they got some new people in it would be top notch.
P.S Could my title at least be changed to I'm disappointed in Channel 7's coverage......it's very misleading as is.

Tim Lane used to be an intelligent and articulate caller when on 3LO.
But my, like a Neanderthal attempting to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded, he's getting really messy.
For example, during the second quarter:
"Steven Milne is a barometer."
And like me the other commentators waited and waited for Tim to fill in the gaps. But nothing. That's where it rested. No other inane mutterings were forthcoming.
"Steven Milne is a barometer."
But maybe Tim's onto something.
After Milne's fair weather performance today, perhaps Lyon is thinking of trading him for something useful. Like a Geiger Counter.

It was good coverage but it was really annoying, especially if you were a Geelong supporter, the spoke over the top of the players getting there medals and they spoke over the top of the song on the oval, it was good with all the stuff that they shown, but they need to get stuffed and just show the footage.

Hmmm, actually, I liked the comments on each player. What's wrong with that? Wasn't like they were doing a speech. Was disappointed with the gf dvd last year that tripple m commentary didn't go that far, they did the same.

Here's a tip for you Robert, how about saying something insightful and tactical during a match? Once per quarter would do. Anyone can fluke a move once a match.

So were we! Talk about Captain Obvious! Sick and tired of him as a special comments man, but for some reason I like listening to him on "One week at a time" on One HD! He's better after a game has been played and he's had time to think about things. My fav Channel 10 commentator is Michael Christian, does a great job.Haha. Wish he did the Granny. Quarters OK, Tim Lane shiiiite, Malcolm Blight on a par with Walls.....Shiiite, and dont get me started about Kelly Underwood, [although I"d def do her!]

Nope, dunno. Maybe the mod was disappointed in it and didn't read my post properly.
Anyway I still say while channel 10 need a new commentary team they were really generous with after game footage. Not like scummy channel 7 who has to get as many ads in as they possibly can.

I think the mods do a decent job, however the job should not involve editorial rights. Surely there will be an edit description at least.
Channel sevens coverage was pathetic,
When you look at the job channel ten did interviewing every single geelong player after the game on ONE HD
Covering the FED square event after the game, having both coaches press conferences
Seven interviewed 3 players for about a minute each, then cut to the news instead of showing the song
