At least this time our High Performance Manager looks like he practises what he preaches

Reading the article, he served under Buttifant and Davoren?

Not sure how I feel about that. It can be good or bad. Maybe he gleans the good stuff and infuses his own philosophies? Or maybe he continues the bad practices. Who knows.

Fingers crossed.

Do you want to do everything that you boss does, or your previous bosses did? While he will probably "glean" some of it, most people like to forge their own path.

White also worked at Manchester City and Liverpool and would bring that experience with him. I still reckon Buttifant was a good operator so I reckon what he brings from that time would be a positive. I'm encouraged by references to personalised programs and additional ball work.

I'd love to know what our plans are with injury screening and prevention. That's one I'd love to hear asked at the members forum. Are we having one of those this year?.

I liked most of what I read in that article and trying to be glass half full, hoping he completely ignores anything he picked up from Davoren.

Injury? Or forum?

It’s imbecilic how you totally write off everything Davros did. Too simplistic.

Tru dat. My current boss served under my previous boss and she couldn’t be more opposite.

The dude probably can’t wait to spread his wings.

Don’t worry, he will get his wings clipped pretty quickly on here.

Sure. During a period where we were slow, weak, unfit and perpetually injured. Davoren worked wonders.

I didn’t say that he worked wonders. You post a lot of absolute statements. Reality is not like that.

Can't dig up much on Kevin White but he can't be worse than Davoren.

He simply can't.
Until we get the “high performance” part back maybe we should just drop the “high” from the title.

We’ve fallen a long way.

We’ve dropped the title altogether. Whites title is strength and conditioning manager.

Got some proof to support that?

Off the top of my head the following all had injuries with either prolonged rehab time frames or in controlled environments.

Nathan Freeman.
Ben Reid.
Ben Sinclair.
Brayden Sier.
Adam Oxley.
Tim Broomhead.
Jackson Ramsay.
Tom Langdon.
Jamie Elliott.

It cost two their career, almost a third and another two have had there’s severely impacted.

That’s before the stuff that can’t be aired publicly. Any other club you can name with a similar injury profile over the past 4 years? You understand that he was sacked for a reason, yes? Or are you suggesting he wasn’t doing poorly and the club erred?
