No Tambling or Shane Edwards?

Thats the problem, like no-one.
Brennan might be able to, that would be a tough ask.

Interesting why Ryder wasnt chosen.

Yes Brennan in the ruck would be a tough ask considering he isn't Aboriginal.

From the AFL tonight:

2009 QANTAS AFL Indigenous All-Stars team named

Johnson today said the team features a new generation of exciting Indigenous talent.

"The team has looked fantastic on the track this week and I'm looking forward to the match," he said. "Not only will the game bring Indigenous players together from AFL clubs, but will bring Indigenous communities together."

Jason K, it was established after his arrival in the AFL some six years ago, that Jared Brennan is not Indigenous.

I cant be ****ed naming a team... but i can say right now i would have Goodes, Franklin than Burgoyne as 1 2 an 3. I think thats obvious to most people who know the game.

Tredders do you realise how funny it is, someone of your history - claiming to be a knowledgable fan.

or are you hoping newbies will just take you on face value?

his leaving out wells & junior burger was stupid, but i'd hardly expect you to do much better.

will be interesting to see cruize garlett and warren benjamin in action

didnt think benjamin was in the original squad

This is expected to be the Adelaide side that takes them on, very rough position guess from our forum, with high numbers of rotations of course:

FF: Kurt Tippett, Taylor Walker, Simon Goodwin
HB: Andy Otten, Nick Gill, Bernie Vince
C: Myke Cook, Scott Thompson, David Mackay
HB: Will Young, Nathan Bock, Michael Doughty
FB: Scott Stevens, Ben Rutten, Rory Sloane

1st R: Ivan Maric, Chris Knights, Nathan Van Berlo

Bench: Brad Moran, James Sellar, Shaun McKernan, Tom Lee, Aaron Kite, Greg Gallman, Patrick Dangerfield, Tyson Edwards, Robert Shirley, Brent Reilly

Missing for the Crows, Trent Hentschel (quad) is expected to resume full training next week when he returns from Darwin; Richard Douglas (hip) is not quite ready; and Tony Armstrong (hamstring) is also close to rejoining the main group.

Also unavailable are Brett Burton (knee), Jason Porplyzia (shoulder), Brad Symes (wrist/thumb) and Phil Davis (shoulder).

With 5 in the All Stars, that covers all 40 senior players on our list.

You don't seriously think that Walker would start on a half forward flank ahead of Wiliams, Betts, Stokes and Headland? All who have been name as emergencie  Three premiership players in that mix.
