Carn Devils, lets show these guys what we can do in Tests!
Yeah, we're back into the game. Nice partnership between myself and P4L. I must be a bit of a stroke player as I've noticed my SR is usually pretty good and I hit quite a few boundaries (got 58 from 76 balls this innings with 12 4's), so if I can stay in I should be able to make runs
. Might have to learn how to graft an innings if we're in trouble though .
Back into the match boys. Lets go out there... we need a solid partnership from me and Brian Lara though.

My thoughts on this match:
- Great fightback from the team in the 2nd innings. Especially great contributions from the tail. If the tail can wag this much in the future, we'll have excellent chances to post big scores.
- In the end we were let down by our first innings score. However, we were unfortunate to lose the toss on a bowlers pitch. Most of our batters made a score in at least one of the innings which is a good sign for future matches. Only Stucey really failed with the bat.
- Our bowling still has some room for improvement. We really need more than 2 bowlers to take wickets so that we can share the workload. Musha_13 returned excellent figures for the match as did rooboy74. It's the first match so hopefully this will improve with experience.

3 votes - Beagle_Charlie - without his 96 in the first innings we were gone for sure. His contribution was double the next highest score and made our total at least respectable.
2 votes - musha_13 - great all round performance with ball and bat. Got 4 important wickets in the bombers first innings and made a valuable 44 in our second innings to keep us in the game.

The other question is that we seem to have a lot of spinners and only 2 pace bowlers. I don't know how this impacts on the games and whether this is a disadvantage.

My thoughts on the match:
- They got off to a very fast start. We managed to peg them back though with some good bowling. Westy and Metallica Man did well.
- Our batting got off to a very bad start and we couldn't pick up the run rate. Most of the middle order got a start. P4L did v.well as did Metallica Man.
- Personally I played poorly as I've mentioned in the match thread. I don't seem to be able to cut it as an opener with a duck and this innings. I think I'm more suited to a middle order spot but the batsman we have there seem to be doing alright.
My 3,2,1 votes are:

2 - P4L - Half century at better than a run a ball
