Nah i don’t believe that ,we got a fwd because we averaged about 70 points a game.

And if your theory about people ringing the club is true Lyon wont survive at the end of year if we finish bottom four, sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.
I know people ring up. West Coast cop it too

I firmly believe the fans set some degree of attitude within the club, they learn what they can get away with and what the fan base tolerates. They learn if the fans respond to excuses or will demand results.

It is nothing but fantasy, or we’re the worst administration in world sport, if we’re making list decisions based on what the receptionists are subjected to on a Monday morning.

At least cross fingers Lobb is on the park, can anyone answer why our forwards are now playing back
at Peel?
Appears that we have an opening but no one to walk through.

I feel like the club hasn’t been this directionless since 2007, prior to that 2001 was the epitome of s**t.
Yeah it’s hard not to feel that way atm.

Also while I was certainly fan of getting hogan (again the state of our list/list management , lack of kpf will do that to ya)I also had my concerns for sure over his injury.
it really doesn’t look good for the future with him.
I’m very much in the can’t see him playing more than 50 games for us.

Sad part That’s not being pessimistic , just realistic in relation to these injuries.

It’s well know career ender, regardless of sport- meaning plenty of clubs , much wealthier and a lot more accessible to world class specialists than ours have failed many times to get players back from this injury.

After just coming out of the Bennell saga, which was hot on the heals of the morabito one we’re now all the way back at the start of it all again with hogan .

Will someone at this club please make a stand!!??

He was at Peel under our noses. Why wouldn’t we direct Cam Shepherd to play him forward? He was getting big wraps around the Club down there. Just more ineptness...
I'm not getting into that stupid argument again. My feelings on this are well covered on this site.

At the age of 17 & doing what he was doing, there was no need for him to play forward, he was clearly a special talent. In any case I’m sure he was playing forward as a junior, you don’t play the jets back at that level. He absolutely should have been drafted as many supporters were calling for at the time.

In hindsight is obvious now that we know Naughton can play forward at AFL level. I don't blame us for that one.

If we are doing the hypothetical I prefer Rozee to Smith too.

Naughton could always play forward. You never wanted Houghton under any circumstance. Prefered east coast mids. Gave me a hard time for months when I declared the kid was a future champ even though you hadn't seen him play.. He was under the Fremantle recruiters nose for years. Its another recruiting disaster by this club. Fremantle don't recruit WA KPP,s. McGovern and now Naughton makes me sick to my stomach.

The dopey campaigner who authorised him returning to training before he was exhaustively scanned and all experts consulted needs to be fired by Monday.

This club can jam the remainder of my money for the year right up its stupid arse.

And yet the eternal rallying cry for a fair few fans is that we "need more Fremantle people!!!!"

I couldn't give a **** where they're from, I just want competent people at Freo who know how to run a successful club. Right now, describing the operation as directionless is being kind.

So many people at this club are seemingly just coasting because there's no accountability and evidently there are very few standards. I really don't blame supporters for wanting to give up.

I’m no doctor.
If it quacks like a duck and looks like a duck it’s probably a duck.

If Hogan grabs the area where he’s had a Navicular injury and it feels like his navicular injury it’s probably his navicular injury.

The real issue is it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck and the Freo staff are telling us it’s not a duck.
I get where you are coming from on this and feel a bit the same way. I also think the club that has invested heavily in Jesse would not be that stupid as to see a scan that screams Navicular issue and ignore it. They would have scanned it several times I am sure before letting him run. He tried a bit a few weeks ago I think and pulled up sore. So he went for more scans and to seek out a specialist in that area again and behold he has the same issue as last year. Don't think it is the negligence of the first scans did not show anything but it is almost certainly some level of ineptitude that is for sure
