Absurd. I could understand 1 or 2 even if they're looking to make an example out of him, but there was nothing in that incident to warrant anywhere near 6 weeks. Collins wasn't even injured ffs.
Guess we'll find out tonight. ;)

I'm not saying you are wrong regarding Viney, but the bolded bit is a massive problem with the AFL sighting/tribunal system. Whether or not a player is injured should not matter, they should punish the action, not the outcome. I know they don't currently (Buddy last week), but they should.

What happened to the "Potential to cause Injury" they used to have. I remember Dusty getting 2 weeks for a elbow a few years ago because of that.

I didn't say he won't get 6 weeks just that he shouldn't get anywhere near that if we're being consistent. AFL will no doubt go into corporate virtue signalling stealth mode over this though.
It's MRP lotto time. IMO should get 2 weeks, just for being a moron. I'm sure plenty will disagree with me though.

Yeah I'm not suggesting it's worth 6 weeks I'm mocking the AFL & their pets.

It's just like I always say about attempted murder vs murder.
You shouldn't get a lesser sentence because you were too stoopid to get the job done!

2 would be reasonable imo. Ideally we'd plead down to 1 on appeal. But under the new Dees Prez I can't see us appealing no matter what he cops.

Could not like enough. We’d have to be the only jurisdiction of any sort in the world that punishes the outcome ahead of the intent. If you swing a massive right hook behind the ball but you get lucky because you’re an unco campaigner that should never mean you get a lesser punishment than someone who (for example) elects to bump but is a fraction late and does not intend malice. AFL is cooked

Cut the fu**en things off, tape em up, and get the fu** back out there!

If that's the case does he give the thumbs up thumbs down or the just the bird when he is happy or sad?

We could be here until midnight for the Viney case... I think Melbourne's representative is Lionel Hutz... You're supposed to read & understand the charge before you make a plea!
