The AFL advises the Match Review of the Friday game of Round 21 has been completed. Two charges were laid and there were no other incidents that required detailed explanation.

Toby Greene, GWS GIANTS, has been charged with Striking Patrick Dangerfield, Geelong Cats, during the first quarter of the Round 21 match between the Geelong Cats and GWS GIANTS played at GMHBA Stadium on Friday August 6, 2021.

In summary, he can accept a two match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, High Impact, High Contact. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction. The player can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.

Basically, a 2 match suspension regardless of whether or not he challenges. No doubt they will.

ah ok , thought the terminology should be suspension until challenged , either way should challenge on precedent set .

Was there any word on Walsh after the game? Looked to be in a fair amount of pain after that very late tackle..
Nothing in the Blues post match report.
Just need to wait until their injury report during the week I think (or if he's spotted going in for scans tomorrow or Monday)

So they knew he was in some doubt but didn't disclose the injury or that he was essentially a "test" in the AFL Injury report. That really should be a fine for the club. I wonder how many punters lost money on that game not knowing that information.

Yeah, and I realise that some of these ‘late late’ outs might be legit, but there is no accountability for clubs. Essentially, one club has named their team on time and the other one hasn’t. It wasn't like the player tore his hamstring in the warm up. What's the point in naming 'final' teams 60 minutes before the first bounce if clubs can just do what they like?

Horse is just a kent. I have a Mills donut and have 86 points sitting on the fwd bench wasted for def fwd.
