I'd do chappy to fyfe in a heartbeat if i didn't already have fyfe and had a trade left...lol.
Depends on your situation though, if it's a must win do it. If your looking for a good ranking do it. But if your not looking for a good ranking and it's not imperative to win (or if you might win anyway) save the trade.

^^What he said.

My dilemma is Fyfe or Stevie J.

Chappy may as well retire from a DT point of view. I won't be picking him next year and I doubt anyone with half a brain would either. Great scorer who is now becoming unreliable. Ho hum. Mix him in with Buddy, Stanton and Swan and I'm having a gay old time in the first round of finals! Thanks christ Robbo is back.

I have to trade Milera to either Fyfe or Stevie J - and I currently have $213,600 in the bank with 2 trades and Broughton and Mohr on the def bench. I will have to use my last trade to upgrade broughton, but I am holding off for as long as Shaw can fill my last spot.

Which player I chose from between Fyfe and Stevie J could be critical because of the 10k difference in price.

If I get Stevie J it means I may not have the option to get Shaw or Heppell in 1-2 weeks time as their prices may increase by more than 10k. I can afford Suckling and Adcock no matter what - but I am not really sold on either of those.

Only other option is risk getting heppel or shaw now. I would then have good cover in every department except rucks, and knowing my luck if I do the trade now Shaw will get a tonne on my bench and Maric will go down injured.

Fun times

Had Chapman in my SC and did it. Fyfe is a pretty good price right now I think.

My DT got rid of Porp for Fyfe. Porp may come good but with Frankilin and Milera on the bench ( and I dont want to stuff around side trading Milera right now ) I wanted something. If Franklin isn't back next week I'll go off the depend. 1 or 2 weeks wasn't it?
Also traded in Bichill for Hanley who seems to be sinking into oblivion since the Lions were knocked out of contention. ( Lake isn't much better, I have Lake as emergency and I'm playing Spurr ).

I remember the last time Lake spudded it up. Next week I put him on the bench and he scored 110.

Food for thought.

No offence, but when you pick Chappy you accept the risk of missed games due to injury.

I'm with you here. It's not a surprising thing for Chappy to miss games late in the season. Or early. Or in the middle.

I still pick him every year and I'm still happy with his output. But no surprise when he misses.

This article is the best info so far I think - http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/144352/default.aspx

Buddy might be back...but risk him against gold coast? Good chance they'll give him another week I'm guessing. You think he'd be back almost definitely for the next round against Sydney.

Surely he'd be better with a run before playing Sydney though. I wouldn't expect massive game time though, and you'd have to think that being subbed is a possibility.

Looks like

Swan - No
Buddy - Unlikely
Chappy - Likely
Roughy - Likely
Stanton - Likely
Fyfe - ?

I'd love a price on Mitchell getting a rest this week as well, reckon it's been factored in since the bye. Hasn't missed a game all year and huge workload, nice break 3 weeks from finals.

You think Hawks likely to rest a player at risk of losing their Top 4 spot in the finals and second chance?
