Injuries?

Hi guys,

Quick question. I have looked absolutely everywhere to get an update on your injuries, your website hasn't updated them and I can't find them anywhere else.

Are you guys able to help me out please? That'd be greatly appreciated. Cheers

As far as i know:

Max Bailey Wrist out for up to 3months depending on how the surgery goes.

Alex Woodward ACL out for the year.

Liam Shiels i think has had a slight hamstring strain but think he will be right for round 1.

McCauley rolled an ankle against the Dockers but did come back on from what i heard.

Josh Gibson missed the Melb game through back tightness and was reported as sustaining a back injury in the Dockers game. Don't know the extent of it but is a concern in the fact this is the reason why he missed the Melbourne game.

Haven't heard of anything else but happy for other posters to give any more info than i have.

Overall a pretty healthy list.

Woodward out for a year
Gilham yet to play, might get on the park in the first 6 weeks (that's a guess, based on updates of his training)
Pattison (rookie) has something not too serious, ankle maybe?


All others ok to go pretty much

Gibbo's lack of preseason and constant "back (upper hamstring)" injury is a significant problem. Even if he plays v Collingwood, will not be 100%. A huge problem for our mistake riddled and undersized (bulk) back line. Hopefully Roughie can fill the void (big ask though)

Yeah it's an error if i take him out and put any other player in that position they have a bandaid next to their name as well.

God I hope it's a computer error.

Was taken to hospital after the Freo game for tests.

Apparently was suffering from leather poisoning.

Was released an hour later and told not touch a footy until Tuesday training.

What about Liam Shiels? He's not listed anywhere as injured but i'm not sure i've seen that he's played once in NAB cup. Strange..

Thanks. They should be more specific with the injury details - or if they are minor then not list them. Should add OAFW (only a flesh wound) after minor injuries.
