What about tarrant surely he announces his retirement soon or because he has been out all year that he can get another season in next season and would we allow that and have him on the list ?
Really should have done it before the mid season draft. What’s he waiting for lol.

I swear i saw a training picture and he was in a marking contest soo weird
Also seen him in some pictures in what looks like a contested marking drill witch Jack a few weeks ago

Wasn’t his injury hip related or something?

Maybe he can’t do the running side to get the fitness up to make him a viable player to pick gameday but can still assist in training drills and would even been an asset like a coach would be due to his experience

How can you make a broken bone heal faster? Curious.
C’mon mate everyone knows that Richmond is the only club in the entire comp who has players who suffer long term injuries and setbacks from players going through rehab

It’s a fact.
Undeniably.

All the evidence supports it
Just look it up.

Just got my youngest a Luke Meehan badge for his duffle coat:

Better to get Lynch 100 percent fully fit as it will help both him and our club long term instead of going out underdone with the risk of more injury.

Richmond have been good with this over the years.

Yeah
When you think of 2017 we actually used 37 players. That's some indicator of injuries and trialling players.
This year we've used 32 so far. 34 if we have 2 debuts. So the coaches are getting games into young , Clarke, Hugo and Ryan. That's a plus. The kpp injuries are hurtful to the team. Young has been a revelation and Miller and Ryan been found out a bit. Gibcus injury is a shame. It's forced jack to play too much and when the midfield got smashed last week makes life in the forward line hard.

In 2017 We trialled Elton and Ben Graham as KPF but went into the finals with caddy and JR. Prestia has averaged 15 games his whole career 2023 has been remarkable for Prestia. Dusty on the other hand barely missed a game until the death in the family.
Cotch has barely been injured last couple of years.
I guess 2023 Cotch, Dusty and Prestia have all dropped off slightly. Partly to do with Tarranto and Hopper. Tarranto and Hopper didn't work.
It's thrown the middle and fwd line out of whack.

Our gps stats are still off the charts. We usually do well and the Brisbane game we won 10/12 running stats. AFL app shows Top 5 in a heap of categories.
it just feels like the end of the world becasue Lynch being injured sucks, and Shorty is a consistent goal scorer now and he's injured too. Plus Bauer's injury.

How do we know this wasn't a reoccurring or aggravation injury as Lynch didn't look fit all preseason and the early rounds didn't look right.

How can it take so long?
Breaks in the feet bones always take a long time to heal even one’s that don’t require surgery can take 6 - 12 weeks and that’s just for the bone to heal

Need to throw on another 4+ weeks rehab plus reconditioning on top of that and even with every going right (that rarely happens it’s easy to have setbacks that cost weeks)

And all of that is for a small break that doesn't require surgery (lynches required surgery so obviously it was a serious break… or more than likely multiple stress fractures)
This isn’t an uncommon amount of time for this type of injury

My mrs broke her foot years ago when doing an outdoor PT session and she has never been the same
