Honestly think Australia could hugely benefit from the like America did when Germans fled the Nazis.

Its not idel in the middle of a housing crisis but surely we could setup some sort of visa system based on the ability to build a new home.

Get some of their highly educated and people focused on R&D over to our country.

you don't, but it plays into the hundreds of videos of Trump fans having tarrifs explained to them, or as I mentioned getting worried their illegal family members could get deported. It assumes if you knew what they were you wouldn't be dumb enough to vote for them (which I mean if an Australian politician mentioned tarrifs I would hope they are laughed out of the room)

At the end of the day Trump says the racists and stupid shit because he knows his supporters love it and whilst I hope he enacts all of the things he promised because its going to be hilarious, I doubt he will.

He will just blame others for his failures and his supporters will believe him.

Why shouldn't illegal immigrants be deported? Isn't that similar to the Labor Party's policy here?

I think Medicare should be recalibrated, more money to fund bulk billing for low income people. I'd be more than happy for people over a certain income threshold to pay a higher rate to fund it. But I'd probably be at odds with most people that lean to the conservative side of politics.

I wouldn't have thought immigration would be a state responsibility, they've got their own jobs to do policing state laws.

I think that's a pretty reasonable view for probably 60% of the country.

Medicare needs to be free that it needs to be free for, GPs to hit me and others like me a bit more.

Happy for surgeries and life saving things to be fully covered.

Both parties have had poor leadership over time.

Personally I don't believe in rewarding shit leadership.

Imo, if you vote for someone who is poor because you have always voted for the party, you are a sheep.
