The numbers don't actually mean much at the moment though as there's a lot of a blue states on the East coast still to be called.

I saw somewhere that it's currently 113 to 195, however California which is a guarantee for the Dems is worth 54 points and Washington State is another strong Dem state so factoring them in it's most probably 179 to 195.

At the moment, we don't know enough about the swing states to get a full picture. This is where the election ultimately is going to be won and lost.

I'm still holding my prediction though that Trump is going to win, but I think it might take a few days before we have an answer.

Republican vote in Florida strongly increased since last election. According to this thread Florida was a slight possibility to flip.

The feed I'm watching is calling this like a footy match. The writing's on the wall, but the commentators are trying to talk up the losing side to keep things hopeful.

It's like watching the ABC when Labor are losing an election and Antony Green's trying to bend the data to keep them in the race while Kerry's crying into his notes. LOL

Its simple. If Harris was a 50yo white man, hed be smashing Trump out of the race.

The hilarious thing that I have discovered is through discussions with my american friends, some of them believe Trump will bring costs down. Yet not at any time in his campaign has he even been able to articulate anything resembling an economic plan. And every economist has said he will devastate the economy. Yet these morons yes im calling my friends morons for not doing their research and for ****ing their own country with their own stupidy. If Trump wins they deserve the pain they will almost certainly get.

I just looked them up. Why would I know who was in Victorian parliament?? I don't follow state politics... particularly other states, and not even really my own!

Lidia Thorpe is a Federal senator for starters and you must live in another country, no make that another universe if you aren't aware of Lidia Thorpe. I don't think even your lefty mates would buy that.

At least someone gets in. All states called are consistent with expectations so showing the needle thing adds no value

The real issue is (1) Harris path appears limited to Blue Wall states and (2) there’s some struggling data even within them so hard to feel confident she will win all 3, let alone any of them

I wasn't aware anyone on this thread had a vote other than the American Crow.

If Trump wins the American people have spoken.

You drew comparison to voting in an Australian election. Why did you do that?

Harris wasn't a great candidate

Like I said yesterday, my theory is that when push comes to shove there is always a subconscious bias toward male candidates especially in countries like the USA.

I never really had the sense that Harris was going to win. I thought she possibly could win if things went her way and she had a really strong campaign, but she was always going to be up against it.

I still think it's way too early to call yet though.
