And yet no one cares about their politics.

China have a bigger impact on us, yet very few Aussies could even name their Leaders.

Agree with most of what you say here. But I can see them taking advantage of the USA weakening.

China won't invade us. They will just control us economically. Heck they already do.

And the US, regardless of Democratic/Republican President will do little to actually help.

AUKUS aside, I don't see how Trump being in charge has any real impact on us.

Just highlights how dumb and easily manipulated Americans are.
I would say it will embolden more Liberal politicians to run on Republican style talking points, rather than proposing any actual meaningful reform to the country.

Add to the fact that Albanese is one of the biggest limp dicked Prime Minister's in memory, you can expect Prime Minister Dutton to be in charge in a few years time.

When you've got a person saying Florida and Texas will go blue, you need to scrub that person off the list of people to take seriously.

Good idea, I started to make a list of your comrades that we shouldn't take seriously.

These were just in the last few days, who knows how many more we shouldn't take seriously.

I'll let others add to this list.

If they take Iowa they will probably take Ohio and Florida also. And Texas - it’s just a matter of time…

But happy with a two vote win but the more the merrier, esp re the different Houses of Parliament (which I know less about to be transparent re this election vs the mid terms)

The other thing the pollsters will point to is the margin of error (most around 3%) so whilst current polling might show 49-48 in favour of Harris if it ends up then say 50-47 in favour of Harris it is within that margin and Harris will win the presidency.

Changing my prediction to 308 - 230. Harris gains North Carolina and loses Arizona. Harris holds the blue wall plus Nevada and Georgia.

Possible surprise is Florida.
Election day is here people.

So Trump could be not only looking down the barrel of losing every swing state, but he needs to now be concerned about losing deep red states like Iowa and Florida.

What appears to have seriously hurt his campaign is the Puerto Rico garbage joke, that looks like that was the final nail on the coffin for a lot of his voters with many Puerto Ricans flipping their vote purely on the back of it.

So my final prediction.

Winner: Harris with over 70m votes

I dont see Trump getting to 50m votes. He could be on track to get the lowest republican vote since the 2000 election. which would see Harris win in a landslide.

It was always which shit sandwich of the two the American people wanted to chow down on, neither should have ever been even close to the Presidency and that's down to the broken 2 party system in America. And all the signs seem to point to the ALP using the same strategy here. i.e Peter Dutton is a bad man.

No, Dutton doesn’t have any policies at this point.

You have to win back the Teal seats, good luck.

Hopefully the ALP will realise it is all about policy. We shall see in 6 months.

I wonder if it was Hulk Hogan's support that tipped the balance in Trumps favour.
There are a lot of central/south Americans migrating out of there (a lot in SA) and they're all super conservative and prefer people like Trump even though he shit talks their countries. They've been ****ed over by 'left wing' politicians forever so any talk of left wing politicians in the west pushes them towards the right wing.

Also look at the stats here where a high % of young Australian males would vote for trump. There's a rise of young men across the west who are fed up with wokeism and the so called downfall of masculinity.

Lets understand that as it stands at the moment, Harris is 18m votes down from Biden in 2020 whilst Trump is only down 5m.

Turnout.

Thats the one stat that has me scratching my head and one I think no one saw coming. Harris was in front in the polls by a fair margin.

So my take was where we thought Trumps supporters may not translate the poll numbers to votes, it looks like not only did this occur for the democrats but it does look like many actually voted for Trump.

Like to show me just one post that supports that bullshit...
Every single post putting Harris down. It’s not what you say….its how you say it.

Nonetheless, I’ve been busy all day with a conference. To say I’m shattered is an understatement. Can’t imagine how the sixty odd million that voted for her are feeling. I’ve decided though, it’s time to tune out from all things America. I’ve got no control over it, and I’m going to protect my mental health.

Putting aside all discussion of policy and how it effects Australians, if at all, I have seen countless Australian men openly celebrating this result.

In Australia, once a week a woman is killed by a partner, we all know the numbers around gendered violence.

Today, a man who has openly joked about assaulting women, has over 20 separate allegations made against him and to this day makes horrendous comments about women (“I’ll protect them whether they like it or not”) has just become the most powerful person in the world.

If as a man, you’re openly celebrating that fact, I genuinely don’t know how you look the women in your life in the eye tonight.
