What sort of a person takes pleasure out of somebody else’s sadness? Fair dinkum.
Are you serious? That flog has been sprouting shit infesting this thread for how long? Deserves what’s coming back her way.

As for sadness? Unless you live in the US, what’s there to be sad about? Has she lost a loved one? Port let her down again in the finals? Bit melodramatic don’t you think Jenny?

Anyway that's fairly predictable i thought. The posts in this thread prior to the election were... bizarre

Australians deeply caring about an American presidency too makes no sense to me. Surely it goes back to a personal issue that they're projecting? Like what exactly are you celebrating or commiserating? 😃

Americans who voted for trump i can understand, can't have an open border and expect no consequence, just a basic function of a nation. A shame the bar is set that low i guess

This whole board did during Port's finals campaign to be fair.

The American people obviously saw her the same as me and many others, a vacuous vessel that didn't believe in anything, or stand for anything, that a maniac like Trump could absoltely obliterate her tells you that.
It says volumes that a man as depraved and corrupt as he is can defeat a woman 1000x more qualified - and far more decent than he’ll ever be - and you and your like minded misogynistic white male privileged friends cheer it on and laugh at what will be the fallout of this decision, for millions of American women in the years ahead. You are even worse than I thought you were.

Really? Makes no sense? They’re a highly influential country and our politics quite often mirrors theirs. Just look at the recent abortion bill that almost passed here, you’d have to be incredibly naive to think that US politics did not influence that.

This absolutely will have significant influence on our politics, and Australian lives as a result. It makes perfect sense for people to be invested in it.

I do however think it’s pretty depressing how many people are deeply invested in it but most likely couldn’t tell you who the opposition leader is at any given moment.

In QLD this last election the new premier recently voted to ban abortion. This is the same path Australia will head down, it’s only a matter of time the privileged white guys get their way.

Obviously it's a world event given their power and for us the cultural links, but there's something off about people riding it deeply to the point of them pretending they know better than actual Americans who should lead their country 😃

Women’s rights in America were marched back to the ****ing 17th century today. It’s not even remotely ****ing funny or comparable.

Jenny melodramatic?? Nooooo.

"We will be the next Italy" - Covid in Australia
"He has his finger on the red button" - terrified last time Trump was in charge
"Disgusting rapist" - NRL guy that the court found not guilty

Someone that’s been in the job before isn’t 1000x less qualified than someone who hasn’t.
