One of my current favourites isna MAGA voter worried his illegal Colombian GF might get deported
I remember seeing stuff like that last time Trump was in. One particular instance had a Trump voter from Texas complaining that her husband was deported.
Immigrants disliking immigrants is real though. I worked with an Indian bloke who thought we shouldn't be letting Indian people into the country because they're all bums and freeloaders.

We’ll be hearing a lot of this buyer’s remorse over the next 4 years.
I wholeheartedly agree with the assessment that the Democrats have lost touch with the American working class and that many would have been voting for Trump in the hopes of disrupting a system that has become increasingly broken and unfair for people on lower income since the GFC then heightened during COVID.
You’d have to be exceptionally naive to think Trump - a billionaire property developer and trust fund baby from Manhattan who would run over his own grandmother for a dollar - is actually going to do anything meaningful to improve the lives of those people though.
He’ll spend the next 4 years doing what he’s always done, rage baiting them about gay people and immigrants, then with a sleight of hand shifting more power and wealth and tipping the scales further in favour of his billionaire mates.
By all reports a lot of people were unaware of Trumps non policys and merely protested the state of the economy. Obviously inflation. Its not until after the election many voters did research and even main stream media reported the harsh realities of what a Trump presidency is likely to bring.
What a lot of people dont realise is his non policys and tidbit thoughts when enacted will inflict pain on everyone. They wont discriminate between MAGA and Dems. And this has been a huge underestimation from a lot of his voters. Its all fun and games because its not in my backyard type thinking. Its not until Trump takes a big giant dump in their backyard that they will become aware.
Which is like much of the commentary on here by the Trumpers. They think its hilarious because no matter what pain is felt by the people in the USA, it means nothing to them, they will just laugh, make jokes and sane wash it. Its funny how the lives of others doesnt matter to some people if it falls on the opposite of their political narrative.
For those people, the cruelty is the point. It's a feature, not a bug.
The type of conservatives that still retain some of their humanity will blame the left because they didn't turn out and vote.

Doesn’t appear to be any form of respect for Trump from Putin here. The main TV channel in Russia (Fox News equivalent) mocking Melania, showing her previous “glamorous” and nude photos and laughing at her in recent days.

So Trumpy fans - your views on Ukraine? Happy to cede to Putin the occupied lands in the east of Ukraine? Let Putin win? And then in a year or 2 if he decides Poland or Estonia is next in line to be invaded and a war started - happy with that? Where does it stop? Taking back 15-20 (or whatever the actual number is) ex USSR countries

Dems do seem fairly inhibited ie ‘when they go low we go high’ type of thing?
Do you believe Kamala being a woman was a big part of her problem?
Or would have Michele Obama done any better?
Or is the level of disinformation so high about how Trump is for the people that not much would have improved things for the Dems?
