I disagree. Dems could have run a white man and it wouldn't have made any difference. Their goose was cooked as soon as inflation ramped up a couple of years back. Even if Biden had dropped out earlier and they had held a primary, I doubt it would have mattered. It's hard to sell yourself as a change candidate when you're the incumbent.

Unfortunately also means no female Democrat candidate for at least another couple of elections as it’s (wrongly) political suicide with the nations intellect, or lack thereof.

You do realise inflation is a global thing and also the USA is effectively the best nation in the world at getting it under control? Interest rates now falling in response and 70% chance of another cut next month.

And your thoughts on tariffs IMPROVING inflation?

Why don’t US voters understand the global context? Having visited 30+ states I was just dumbfounded by the lack of global knowledge of so so many people I met. “What language do you speak in Australia”. “Do you visit your neighbouring countries in Europe much?”. I convinced more than one person, often young ladies at bars but this was 20 years ago, that most families do own a kangaroo AND the Govt had “special military-grade” kangaroos that would deliver the postal mail to your letterbox. No questioning. Just acceptance and “in awe” of these special military grade kangaroos.

The amount we know about the US is 10-50x what most average Americans would know about us. Even in their own country, they visit on AVERAGE 6 states only in their lifetime as the stat provided during my travels

And that’s how Trump intends to keep them. Imagine talking about disbanding the department of education. Teaching the Bible as being more important than actual history.

Voters will always blame the current government for current issues. You can't expect the average voter to understand the nuances of inflation, supply chains, stimulus, and all the other components that go into the covid hangover. All they understood was price shock and blamed the current government.

Will Trump make it any better. I doubt it. Strong odds he makes it worse.

There was definitely a protest vote but how much did misogyny play apart. But what's done is done. Mistakes were made by the Harris Walz campaign.

you have to understand, they dont care about policy or points, they've spent years hiding their racism and bigotry.

I dont think we should character assassinate one group. Each have their reasons. Some are just so far down the conspiracy rabbit hole they think everything is a conspiracy. Trump is merely a symbol of their conspiracy ideology.

And unfortunately for you it wasn’t just Africa impacted by the significant rise in measles cases and deaths - Southern Europe, Asia and the Pacific. Keep on blaming 2020/2021 when the reduction in immunisation was last year and nothing to do with supply chain.

Again this is why we need a royal commission. Some people became crazed with power the minute they were placed on covid committees and this needs to be identified because good intentions dont cut it when so much of it is increasingly being argued it was unnecessary and a waste of time.

The one thing that stands out is why on earth is Nicola not publicly criticized for the state wide lockdown over a pizza box rumour. Its like we have just walk past it because poor nicola did this for us. She was protecting us. Bullshit. she was wielding her power because she was addicted to it.
