There's little to nothing in that that supports the idea that we are female by default. You seem to be relying on the notion that because it's the SRY gene that drives male development, the absence of that gene is the "do nothing" option i.e. female until otherwise driven to male.

Emma Hilton addresses this in the X thread I linked to.

Regardless, sex is determined at conception, and it can be observed within a few weeks, before differentiation, and that's the key point.
By default? No. That's just really bad and inappropriate wording.

What the article states is that we all start off as females, for the first 6-7 weeks of our gestation period. It's only once testosterone starts being produced, around 9 weeks, that the male gonads start to develop.

The embryo doesn't become male by generating testosterone and developing testes, it does those things because it is male. You can tell the sex of an embryo before 6-7 weeks.

At what stage do the other genders develop.

Yep I'm on Big Footy for a biology lesson....Not.

Something tells me none of the posters have a degree in Biology...🤣😂
Yet only a few days ago you were telling us what a 'fine' appointment Pete Hegseth is

And here we have the thoughts of a recently retired USN Admiral, former Supreme Allied Commander at NATO and former senior assistant to SECDEF

Chromosome wise you have either XX or XY at conception but you are correct re : testosterone.

We are on here to discuss things that interest people.

Based on your theory, none of us have a degree in Biology, then each of us would be limited to discussing our occupations only. And based on occupations I could discuss finance and banking, gardening (maintenance on a commercial level not personal level) and beekeeping.

We have all have opinions and I’d put it to you that if you don’t like it, don’t read it.

Interesting 12 of the top 15 states paying the highest average federal taxes to the Federal Government are oh surprisingly Democrat states - and 10 out of 12 lowest are Republican States - just who are the leaners and who are the lifters?

"Take the positive" out of people dying because they probably voted for someone you don't like? Do you actually think of yourself as good and tolerant when you post shit like that?

I really don’t get it, I hope that no one dies from a stupid decision. I don’t care what political party makes the stupid decision.

This fella said he is getting the popcorn out for human suffering FFS. I hope he is trolling and not the person he appears to be on here.

Au contraire, I think he will have plenty of help with his decision making.

We can finally have that in-depth discussion about whose farming simulator setup is better

LOL

Probably one of the Generals that's had all the say while the USA defence capabilities were being run into the ground and similarly the morale of those that serve ...

Of course he and his like will have their noses out of joint.

Like the USA's shambolic withdrawl from Afghanistan leaving US$7 Billion worth of military hardware behind for the Taliban and terrorists to utilise...

The US gave a total of $18.6 billion of equipment to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF) from 2005 to August 2021, according to the report. Of that total, equipment worth $7.12 billion remained in Afghanistan after the US withdrawal was completed on August 30, 2021. It included aircraft, air-to-ground munitions, military vehicles, weapons, communications equipment and other materials, according to the DoD report. The huge value of the hardware left behind will serve to refocus attention on the chaotic and hasty Afghanistan withdrawal that has been heavily criticized by lawmakers from both parties.

Go away and do some research ..

For a start he was an Admiral, you know, navy

Trump ordered the withdrawal from Afghanistan, released 5000 members of the Taliban and invited their leaders to Camp David for drinks and snacks

The Biden administration got lumbered with trumps shit decisions

Now trump is begging the Taliban to give all the equipment back
