What an absolute disgrace and a farce .
You can go out and have some fun but not this way .Its an obvious joke this trip to Ireland and the AFL having control of the team must penalise the players and management re this wrong behaviour.
They were supposed to play some type of football not booze and carry on. It shows you how much this trip didnt mean to them .
Also why did they only take 21 players to Ireland when they can play 23 in each match ? Ireland is playing the 23 players but not them !
They should have taken 26 players not 21 if they were serious about the matches.
These matches must never be played again

The whole 'incident', just like the tour itself, just has an air of 'who the **** cares' about it.

They went back to their hotel room and were a bit noisy, and didn't immediately quiten down after being asked the first time. They did this at a time when they had been specifically told they were allowed to blow of some steam.

Beat up.
As much as I have no interest whatsoever in the series, this pretty much sums it up.

While this pretty much sums up why anyone who thinks this series matters in the slightest is a fool, if the AFL wants to persist with this, they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. Of course you could implement a ban on alcohol and late nights as any representative team playing a similar series would between games, but then you wouldn't even have enough interested players to field a team.

Just get rid of it; it's an embarrassment.

Meh... all their mates are currently on holidays. They're in another country and expected to train and perform at an elite level... the difference between this tour and previous is that there's a limited number of Indigenous talent, and there would have been a fair deal of family and club pressure to 'represent' their culture. They'll train and play hard, but don't expect them to give three ****s more than anyone else in Australia gives.

Bad way for the comp to end. Next year I say field the All-Australian squad; smash the absolute shit out of Ireland and then never play them again. Classy.

Not surprised at all. Bunch of guys going to Ireland to play footy, and when the night comes they want to let loose a bit, no problem with it, just shouldn't get out of control.

Nothing wrong with having a few and getting back to the hotel at 1, but getting shitfaced and getting back at 4-5, that's not on, especially when representing australia.
