Is it? Or does the nation of Australia actually not exist?

Maybe not in your mind.

Are we still linked via the original colonies as I stated earlier.

Australian Football was what linked the colonies. All the colonies and later all the states played each. As was the popularity of "colonial Football" that NZ was also a strong participant such was the case they changed the formal name to "Australasian Football".

Sorry mate. Not trolling. I am an Aussie through and through. I remember when we used to get up to watch sport during the night. When the Nation stood as one. Australia is basically a number of colonies that are very separate – Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Pert and Hobart.

The only thing that brought us together was sport.

But from an Aussie Rules perspective, we don’t come together.

Adrain Anderson has a dream. Adrian sees the game of international rules as our chance to come together as an Aussie Rules community. To have a common goal under the umbrella of Australia. Where a boy in Norwood can feel proud about his nation as much as a boy in Fremantle……but the people have spoken.

And the people have said “Yuck!”

Don't even know why I'm bothering to feed this troll, but **** it.

The reason the people said "yuck" is because international rules is a steaming pile of ****.
