Had one the other day. I get into gym, do my stretches and stuff, then head over to the leg press. There's two in my gym. One is occupied, and has been since I entered the gym (read: not actually being used, just been reserved). This woman had loaded it up with 4x 20kg plates on each side, then moved to the side to speak on the phone.
Anyway, I do my sets with the few 20s I could find and a bunch of 10s and 15s to make up the weight since the rest of the 20s are gone. In the meantime, this woman had been on the phone the whole time. I move on to the squat racks, and see behind me in the mirror that after 20+ minutes of me being in this gym, she FINALLY starts her sets - sets of the worst quarter rep leg pressing I've ever seen. She does maybe 5 per set, then stops to rest.
So not only had she taken one of the only leg press machines in the gym, but she'd taken 8 ****ing 20kg plates in a gym where there is maybe 20 to go around (besides the ones for the squat racks which are kept in a separate area). Yes, this is nowhere near enough 20kg plates to begin with which is partially the gyms fault, but this clown took nearly half of what was available, and just left them on a reserved machine she wasn't even using for 20+ minutes. In total she had claim of these plates for probably close to half an hour.
Oh, and she didn't put them away after. Of course
