in terms of backline he is ahead of a few of them as some of em dont play in defence;) , but your aloud to have your opinion so i wont grill you for it, but imo jackson is ahead of some them mainly for the fact he is the defensive type who can play on the last line when half of them are attacking guys who tend to zone off there man
Um Jacko apart from Johnson they all mainly play defence and i agree with him saying Terry would think they are ahead of Daniel. Cam Howat is more of a winger and Andrew Raines plays more HBF for us than midfield

whoever started this thread deserves to be shot once in the head, then once in the groin, then thrown in the middle of the arizona desert so that the vultures can eat the remaining carcas of a fat cow who ahs no idea about footy and is comparing a player (deledio) who has already had an impact in his first season as a footballer (and only 18 yrs old, not 19), to comparing another who ahs finally deliverd the goods after 4 seasons of nothing. So really, is hodge a long time waiting, poor mans deledio when ur comparing performance vs age's at the time of their respective careers?

As for the topic at hand...

Its clearly a "no".

It actually makes me laugh, even though the thread wasn't started by a Hawthorn person, the amount of Hawthorn fans quite happy to slag Deledio off. (Not yourself obviously)

You really would have thought that Hawthorn people would have learnt their lesson after years and years of Hodge being slagged off in comparison to the two players after him.

I guess not.

Deledio will be gun ... & is a completely different player to Hodge, who will also be a superstar for his club by the time he retires.

Definately will be a much better player than the over rated reciever in the West Coast line up that the media love to give the proverbial blow job to.

I've always said Hawthorn made the right choice, time will prove them right, by the end of all their careers, it will be Hodge > Ball > Judd
