I can only compare it to Newcastle, but not really because I've never been to Geelong, and when I was in Newcastle there were another 2000 Uni students there.

I'd argue Bordertown is.
I don't mind it so much, but Geelong is where i've lived for all my 25 years, so i really don't know much different. However when you travel to major cities you get an idea of how small and pretty tame the place really is.

Of the provincial cities, Adelaide would be in with a chance but Geelong is daylight ahead of it.

Surely people in Werribee and Hoppers Crossing would be in a good spot to comment on Sleepy Hollow..because if it's boring there, we're probably even more bored just up the freeway

The most boring place I have ever been to is without a doubt Ararat. As far as cities go, Geelong is quite placid, but in boredom terms it is thrashed hands down by Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra.
