Is Geelong deliberately losing to avoid Richmond in the finals or are they just the worst top side this century?

Geelongs supporters have confirmed in previous threads that the Cats deliberately lost a game to put Richmond into ninth, are they taking this cunning tactic a step further now that it looks as if we will have too play them at their alternative home ground in the finals and deliberately losing to avoid their collective nightmare?

Or are they just the s**t handbaggers weve come to know and "love"?
We all know it’s actually just to spite you flogs, cause they know you don’t want to travel to Brisbane or Perth.

Correct, If we get Richmond away from Melbourne in week 1 then it is a free pass to the prelim same goes for you fellas. Thanks for top 2 Geelong. 🙏🏼

Indeedy. Last time we played Richmond in a final up here we doubled their score of 68 points if I remember correctly. Happy to take one for the team and do it again should we be given the chance!

Last time you beat us up there at all you were reigning premiers. You haven't beaten us anywhere for 10 years, but you haven't beaten us at the Gabba since 2004. We've beaten you there eight times in a row, holds no fears for us.

Do not worry sunshine as Brissy will be taking Geelong and you will be coming west to the new house of pain.

Let's not forget one thing my friends. Hinkley karved up the Korio Klown Kats in Round 14.

Skott's underpants were soiled and his pathetic little Kardinia Circus Act was paraded around the Southern Hemisphere for all to see.

They have never rekovered from the petrifikation that followed....

Agreed. The Port loss was the one that broke them, it reinforced all their worst fears of losing after the bye and sent the message nothing had changed.

There is absolutely no doubt about that my friend.
The Geelong Football Club needs to do the right thing now by its supporters as well as the football community in general. It must withdraw from this Year's Finals series and apologise

1st. Geelong
56 points (14 wins, five losses), 130.5 per cent
Four losses in the past seven games has loosened the Cats' grip on a top-two spot and right now they don't even look like a top-four quality outfit. There could be some nervous moments on the run home, with a never-say-die North Melbourne and high-flying Brisbane at the Gabba to come, before they host the Blues in round 23, when Geelong might need to win to host a qualifying final. Chris Scott has a few headaches to sort out before finals. - Travis King AFL Geelong supporter and leading journalist of the AFL community of sports journalism in Melbourne and greater suburbs.

You say that now lol. Do you know how many hoodoos we’ve broken this season? I’ve lost count. I know we hadn’t beaten Sydney in 10 years until this year and it was about a 4 or 5 year drought against the Bulldogs until we beat them tonight..

You'll probably win the flag then.
