Who is the worst of the recently-retired players turned commentators?

The problem is that they seem obsessed with trying to turn former stars into football commentators/analysts etc, even when some of them are clearly not made for the job.

Guys like Selwood, Hodge, Cotchin and Jones. All are pretty terrible. Cannot stand Jono Brown or Campbell Brown either. The latter is a clear exception to the rule - dud player and even worse media performer. One of the most baffling appointments in the history of television .

The AFL should really expand their horizons a bit, and consider lower profile ex players who are already well spoken and have a bit of natural charisma.

A guy like Josh Jenkins springs to mind.
 
Shaun Burgoyne as a special comments man is putrid.
