I always had us pegged as more the protagonist. Everything invariably ends up revolving around us one way or another. The main character of the AFL, if you will.

Geelong are going along as i expected, they will be very hard to beat and will be competitive in most matches, but Melbourne has their number. The Cats still haven't found another gun who can come along and make the difference in 2022, The Demons will beat Geelong comfortably this year, unfortunately.

I'd say Geelong are Giovanni (8th Gym Leader) in Pokemon Red. You have to work hard to get there but as long as you know what you are doing you can sweep him/them and go on your merry way.

You will have to tell that to the teams they beat that don't make the 8? Geelong will be very hard to beat as they always are. I understand that every opposition fan wants them to finally fail...because they will relegate their own team out of contention.
