Haha, yes. It's so annoying, especially for set shots on goal. Always says 'he's kicked it' as soon as the player kicks the ball.

David Schwarz, seems to be paid to explain Dennis Commetti's witty comments in full for the next two minutes of the game for those as dumb as he is. I think Jako is starting to imprve but geez Schwarz drives me crazy.

Other Commentator: "Mastens now got it on the outter wing. Handpasses it inside to Rosa who takes a bounce and looks to 50 with another big kick..."
Jacko: "...Kennedy..."
Other commentator: "...Kennedy takes the mark at the top of the 50m arc"
Jacko: "And thats what Hurn offers to West Coast with his long kicking blah blah blah"

Was quite funny today when Gerard Healy asked Jakovich about a plan B for Ablett who was carving up Crowley at that stage. Was silence for a while before Jako finally suggested playing Broughton on Ablett.
Then Healy asked him who he would play on Steve Johnson, which was Broughton's opponent. That must've caught Jako by surprise as there was more stunned silence before he said "aahh you've got me there".
Probably wasn't Brian Taylor's best call either today, although I still like him in general and find him quite amusing at times. He still has a bit of trouble with players names, like Sandy Lands and struggled with pronouncing Podsiadly as well. He also loved saying Dawson Simpson's name too.

I love this thread so much. But I wanted to bring a 'Dwayne-ism' while i'm at it. Did anyone else hear what he said when James McDonald kicked the winning goal against Adelaide on the weekend?

I'm not so sure about the last part of the quote, but the bolded is exactly what he said. Wtf are you on about Dwayne. Addicted to tragedy? That doesn't even make sense. They are so scripted as well, which is the most pathetic part about it. Dwayne has made this up before hand, thinking that its the perfect one liner. Ridiculous.

Oh and +1 for not being able to construct a sentence. Its awesome when BT asks for Glenn's analysis of the goal for example.

i cant believe you guys missed this one from sunday's game
this is in the 3rd quarter, a quarter after deboer's miss from 10ms out when he tried to dribble it with the outside of his boot. they all comment that he should have just drop punted it.
steve johnson running towards goal in the pocket kicks with the outside of his boot and goals it...
i dont know it word for word, but it went like this:
Jacko: 'See young johnson has showed deboer how its done with an easy drop punt through for a goal'
jacko then talks through the goal as the replay is being shown
healy: 'was that a drop punt or the outside of his boot?'
jacko: 'outside of his boot...'
*silence*

Disappointing - don't think Jako made it on to the tv screens this week??? I'm sure he'll make up for it next weekend with a few classic clangers!
Jako is definitely a Freagle. He's barracking for them even more than the Eagles these days I feel.

Yeah did notice he was getting excited for us in the Geelong game, but I took it as more of a supporting the underdog rather than just straight out Freo bias.
Makes up for the game many moons ago when Sam Kekovich commentated Freo vs Geelong at Kardinya Park, and he didn't know half our players names. Was the worst football broadcast that Ive ever seen.
