I never got into gambling, not that I am against it or anything. I've just never got a "rush" or whatever you are supposed to get. That includes casinos, can't remember the last time I visited one. I know it's all stacked against you so don't see the point.

As far as the Melbourne cup goes, it's all about dressing up, getting pissed and gambling. The race is secondary to most.

They limit bets on blokes who are professional punters. No problems on taking money off mugs but if you a good at winning they make it bloody hard. I have a family member who has been limited to betting small amounts on most betting agencies.

Yes but they keep between 10 and 20% of your bet before you start and the exotic bets are worse .
