I'm hearing from someone who always has good mail that he is. But I also just got told by someone else who always has good mail that Jayden is home playing Xbox.

Can anyone confirm if Jayden snuck off overseas and the club kept it quiet?

AFL players have a required time off, when they are injured they take their break during the season then spend the offseason in contact with the club, if not attending the club.

Now would you think it better serves Collingwood for him to be walking around and in the gym at the Pies HQ and then overseas during the offseason, or away now and then in contact with the club or at the club HQ during the entire lead up to the preseason for 2020?

They aren't even allowed to contact the players during their time off, they can't require them to report or monitor them in that time.

Wouldn't it be better for Collingwood to have him around the club keeping up with training, gym work and subtle changes in game plan considering his suspension ends at the end of the H&A season and there's nothing stopping Stephenson playing finals?

Possible. Collingwood might have also put him away for some time to bring him back with a 2-4 week training block and achieve both.

The club was pretty clear that he would be on an intense program during his suspension, in lieu of playing. He's been to every training session and most (if not all) VFL games to assist on the sidelines besides the most recent one.

If the club gives the okay to a four-day trip with family to Cairns, who cares?
