100 percent correct on the list cloggers but really don’t think Barass or Kelly form is worth bragging about.
Barass was shocking before he feasted on Freo. Hough would be ahead of both in best and fairest for example as would Waterman, Ginbey and Duggan.
Both Dockers and Eagles have similar list profiles. Freo reliant on the elderly so near the end of the window scenario with Walters, Fyfe, Pearce, Ryan, Taberner all gone in the next 3 years which is basically the 3/4 of the spine
Big thing we have in our advantage is we have started out rebuild before Freo have there’s which truly begins this season with the 3 1st rounders

In 2012, when Fremantle won in the second derby,
Read it again. Said Freo hasn't beat us in a derby when WC were actually good since 2012. In the 2nd derby of 2012 we were considered good.
In round 3 of 2015 we were not considered 'actually good' yet. That didn't occur until the year progressed. You know, you gotta stack up the wins. That game was the starting point (like hopefully last week). Freo were good, came off a GF & top 4 ladder finish.
Eagles had been shizen the previous 2 years. Hadn't beat a top 8 team in 2014 (off top of head)
I said Freo hadn't beat us when we were actually good. I didn't say they hadn't beat us in a year when we were actually good! (Fool)
In 2015 we beat you when Freo were actually good. Then the big derby streak happened you big streak of Mr Percival Pelican Shi

So when was the last time Freo beat WC when they were actually good again?
Not what year did Freo beat WC when they had a high ladder finish.
Half those guys will probably be gone at the end of the year, Chesser has only played 20 games and is beginning to show a bit, will get better with time.

Clubs actually don't need 15 first round picks in a 4 year period to rebuild mate.

We have enough as long as we don't screw up our later picks.

Geelong manage to keep bringing in mature blokes with talent.
Not seen evidence that you can do that yet.
Geelong hasn't been to the bottom of the ladder. We need to be a slightly more attractive prospect to recruit players in their prime

Barrass will bring in additional picks and then there's trades. If the Eagles can take four picks to the draft and trade in Baker, Graham and Dev Robertson, that's seven new players. There may be an additional trade or free agent we don't know about. We have turned over quite a few in the past two year. That will be plenty.
Brockman, Hunt, Graham, Flynn and at stretch our mid season recruit (Hutchinson) who was a 24yr old.
Also likely to get Baker.
Most of that is just the last 2 trade periods...

One thing They do have though is a future best player in the comp level superstar in Reid if they keep hitting the draft with high picks I don’t see them being down for to long . They are also one of the best resourced and financed clubs

If the 2010 draft is anything to go by as an eagles fan, then there is hope of getting 3 or 4 good players in the draft.
Yes I know eagles got Gaff, Lycett and Darling in that national draft and McGov on the rookie list. To be honest that 2010 draft had some solid and serviceable players after pick 20.
Gold coast had 9 picks in the 1st round and well... They didnt fully take advantage of that didnt they?
