And as well as our team being shite we have:

1. Pies on top arghh.
2. Our death ride going to the tip
3. Bummers playing decent footy under our ex coach.

Sucks big time at the moment from all angles. Cept perhaps our VFL and AFLW teams.

tThe rate of improvement that we've seen with our percentage would see us competing for finals in two years' time. At our best, we played a long stretch of football that had a percentage 25% higher than what we achieved last year.

We have that 25% improvement on our best next year and we're in finals.

When is this long stretch of football where we were going at 80%? Ratten's first 5 weeks/losses was 81.8? Hardly a 'long stretch' and you're extrapolating that into playing finals next year?

Besides, the bar you set is incredibly low. If we lose this week we'll be 2-15, just as we were after 17 games last year, but our percentage will be around 12% better and that's the marker for a 'ton of improvement'?

This time two years ago we were in the middle of a stretch where we only lost 3 times over 7 weeks, coming off 17th the year before. The subsequent 42 matches have netted 38 losses. If we are to play the extrapolation game on that timeline, we're on course of playing finals sometime around never.

If there was a comparable stretch last year, then you’d be correct.

Five games isn’t a lot, but playing five weeks of AFL-standard football was beyond our wildest imagination last year.

We couldn’t go three weeks without embarrassing ourselves last year and barely had five games total that were within 47 points

We are shit...plain and simple. Either we have gotten the coaching appointments wrong 3 times in a row, or 60% of our list is for the tip.
We have to nail our next 2 drafts or we are going nowhere.

We're not losing to West Coast.
Anyone actually seen them play?
They're comfortably worse than us, just had a big one off effort against the Saints after an historic thumping.

They nearly beat us round 1 and that was at marvel lol

I don’t know how anyone can be confident in any games tbh

I wouldn't mind seeing one quarter. Just one, don't care when it is, where we are just utterly dominant. Don't care who it's against. Maybe just a 7-8 goal quarter? Oh what's that Wardlaw is injured again
