I was there and bumped in to Ben Buckley at McDonalds afterwards. He was all smiles and giggles whereas I was irate.
I eyeballed him and said “nice game pretty boy”.
He didn’t like it. But I don’t care. I’m a big boy now. I can handle it.

We all thought it was behind us but with the way we finished the season, who knows?

Reminds me of when those HIV Ten Pin Bowling ads came out in the 80’s. I was at Waverley watching us play Hawthorn, and they showed the ad on the scoreboard. I turned to my mate who owned a few Kingdom Halls and said, “Mmmmm. Good luck sparing that up.” He didn’t like it. He put me in a camel clutch and made me submit.
