1st he decided to forego Daniel Rich for VFL Reserves star Chris Yarran.
Now hot on the heels of last years trade/draft period Hughes has sought out Matthew Spangher, a dud of Jason Saddington porportions.

There has been a lot of debate about coaches tanking, but Wayne Hughes with his drafting successes of Darren Phieffer (sp), Chris Yarran & now Spangher is giving more credence to recruiters tanking.

How do you know they aren't genuinely incompetent?

What an absolute load of shit. Yarran will be a star you just have to be patient. We havn't got spanger yet anyway. How can you rate a player after a year of football. People like you are the people i hate. You Judge someone without even seening what they have to offer.

You make me sick

That is a distinct possibility but unfortunately if it comes to be it wont be at Carlton.

Correct, dipsh!ts on Bay 13 aren't happy unless a first year player is of Daniel Rich quality. Melbourne been copping the same sh!t about Watts, gets so damn tedious. Spose we will have the last laugh...

THIS IS SPANGHER!!

As we can clearly see the battle fronts have been established. Out initial attack, whilst partially successful in diminishing the stocks of the Cox army, was inefficient in the scheme of times. We must target the weakest element of their frontal army, that being the Swift army. Swift will buckle the quickest, having minimal support in regards to total game time and overall impact on the team. Glass has been a worthy ally in this cause, with some of his forces supporting the attack on Cox, but he must also change targets to Swift.

Kerr is still undecided, and could go either way. Some of his army will attack Spangher, however he will have some deserters who will support our cause. Selwood's influence has been rather minimal, and does not seem to be impeding the attack on either army, but his growing strength is something to worry about in the long term.

Another worry is the MacKenzie army, approaching from the backline. He has been picking up rogue supporters who have jumped on the Mac Bandwagon. With a relatively poor performance with Glass against the Hawks duo of Roughead and Franklin, this army should stop gaining momentum. HOWEVER!!! If he dominates the game, we have a bigger threat than Cox, Swift, Kerr and Selwood combined. He will be an unstoppable beast. Even a poor follow up against the 6th Pavlich Division with have a minimal effect because, as we know, Freo get themselves pumped up for their Grand Final day.

We are looking at grave times people.

Note - This is all Zarko's work, I take no credit for it.
