Perhaps, but the fact he even moved Laird from the midfield at all was extremely positive
Wouldn't describe it like that. Moreso it was a bare minimum type move, not 'extremely positive'.

I would hope what Nicks has a rough idea of what he wants his 2026+ midfield to look like so he uses 2025 to get games into those he thinks will be part of our primary midfield rotations.
We should be developing/trading/drafting with a view to challenging in 2026/27/28 or we will face another decade of nothingness.
Fogarty/RT/Rankine/Rachele/Soligo/Dawson/Murray/Hinge/Michalanney/Worrell will all be in their prime. Add 2 A grade midfielders and that's a solid core to push for a premiership.
Given the lack of those sorts of moves in his tenure so far, im taking the positive route here.Wouldn't describe it like that. Moreso it was a bare minimum type move, not 'extremely positive'.
Well who were Rostrevors best year 10 midfielders this year?I would hope what Nicks has a rough idea of what he wants his 2026+ midfield to look like so he uses 2025 to get games into those he thinks will be part of our primary midfield rotations.

Literally all depends on this guy, now
If we get him, I’d call the trade period a win
If we don’t, it’s a big fail
We can offer him $2m per season nowI think and have always thought he was coming to us.
Hang on a minute. Slow down there. We can offer him $2m per season now
So we’ll surely expect an answer on him this weekTom Morris said Cumming did his medical with both clubs in SA yesterday and flew back to Sydney last night
Sounding a lot like it’ll be today or tomorrow, I’m guessing the clubs already know and it won’t take long for that to leak out of somewhereSo we’ll surely expect an answer on him this week
If Perryman genuinely hasn’t made up his mind yet I’d say we’re in the box seatSounding a lot like it’ll be today or tomorrow, I’m guessing the clubs already know and it won’t take long for that to leak out of somewhere
Ah the old 3 am hunt. Short term success, and long term regret. The dance floor is getting empty
We can't be too choosey at this late stage
Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he follows luko. Not out of negativity but tbh it's the smart option.Tom Morris said Cumming did his medical with both clubs in SA yesterday and flew back to Sydney last night
