It's pathetic how Hawthorn have turned on "the greatest player of all time" (Their words not mine)

None actually our membership rose after Ablett left.

But ours are true supporters not hipster wannabe's who jump on a team for the supposed coolness factor of it's biggest named player.

Who evidently don't rock up to night games in Melbourne, even PF's against your biggest rival! It's got to be a day game with nice weather to draw Cats fans out in droves

Our membership grew in 2009/2010 during our mini rebuild

FAIL

I won't sit here and say, "Good luck buddy, thanks for your service." He's an opposition player ; one who turned his back on the hawks no less. Bugger him. I guess I feel about him in the same manner north fans must feel about Gibbo.

How's that for dealing with it? Please do let me know.
Wow, you're clearly over it...

Just deal with it and move on ffs...

Mini rebuild?
Is that what they are calling Premiership hangovers these day's?

Leigh Matthews is playing for the Swans?

Buddy is also behind:
Hudson
Arthur
Dunstall
Platten
Ayres
Mew
Knights
Crawford
Brereton

in terms of Hawthorn 'greats'. Hell, if this deal goes through Greg Madigan might overtake him...
you dont consider Tuck M one of your greatest players?

WTF is she doing there???:confused:

I think she's some kids show presenter trying to be wacky, pretty f***ing dumb putting her head under a horses arse and the horse taught her a lesson by taking a massive shit on her lol.

The full video.

LOL okay...

The Swans had 36,358 members for season 2013 and drew 657,712 across their 22 home and away games (29,896)

...and they won the flag last year!

In the year prior, the premiership season, they had 29,873 members for season 2012 and drew a mere 595,825 (27,083) across their home and away games!

Hawthorn had 63,353 members for season 2013 and drew 899,031 across their 22 home and away games (40,865) for season 2013. In 2012 we had 60,841 members and drew 891,088 (40,501) across our home and away games.

Evidently Shitney got a 21% bounce in membership and 10% bounce in membership from the 2012 flag. In 2005 they evidently got a similar 21% bounce in membership and 4% bounce in attendance. FFS we even got a 20% bounce in membership and levelled our attendance in 2009 despite missing the finals! Unless we have a spectacular **** up we'll likely have a 10% bounce on our attendance for next year (980,000 or so) despite playing 4 games in front of 13k in Launceston...

So clearly Hawthorn is a far, far, far bigger club.

So lets look upon further observation

Hawthorn hosted 2 games against Sydney in Melbourne for season 2013

Hawthorn V Sydney - 54,725 (Round 7)
Hawthorn V Sydney - 59,615 (Qualifying Final)

Sydney hosted 1 game against Hawthorn for season 2013

Sydney V Hawthorn - 37,980 (Round 23)

You could be correct, or could you?

Fun Fact of the Day: The Hawks had 9 home and away games that drew larger than 37.9k (including no less than 5 games beyond 60k and 4 beyond 70k) whilst the Swans had just 2 games (1 being against Hawthorn) that drew more than 37.9k for the home and away season.

Deductive reasoning and a solid grasp of demographics suggests that you probably live in some shit outer eastern suburb in Melbourne and envy Hawthorn, that's cool I would too if I went for the Tigs :)

But one thing is clear as day, Hawthorn is a significantly larger club than Sydney as per the stats above. Don't let your enduring envy of a BETTER club get in the way of that very fact.

Oh and we've now got more flags than your shit club despite giving you a 17 year head start. Jack Dyer must be turning around in his grave :)

Read the sig flog...

Yet when your club was down, people like you tried to vote it out of existence.
Then a few years later, your club had to partially relocate to survive.

Historical fact my friend.
Rant and rave and froth at the mouth as much as you like.

Great point. 7 time premiership players and 4 time premiership captains don't just grow on trees..

Hodge?

Love Hodge and he is above Franklin. Sammy will win another Peter Crimmins medal this year. Despite being perennially underrated Mitchell is the best player of this Hawks generation.

Guerra is on the list as well. Just for smashing Chapman last year.

Oh I aint mad. I'm thrilled to bits. We have just pinched the greatest player to ever pull on a whorek jumper, since Lethal. We are gonna make an even greater player out of him by giving him a megadose of what he always lacked, culture:D

Buddy is going to Sydney for a megadose alright but it's not culture he's interested in.

Those are pretty impressive numbers, eh?

22,000 plus at Glenferrie (I was there, they shut the gates and people were watching from across Linda Cres.), 6,000 in Launceston and even 1,000 at a reception in Hobart...heck the GF even pulled 100,000 plus for the 3rd time in 27 years (2 of the 3 have involved Hawthorn)

Not bad for the 5th club in Australia's second more populated state...

Bandwagoners they may be but when you make 17 GF's and win 11 flags in 52 years who cares? Well likely be back in the GF either next year or the year thereafter :thumbsu:

Meanwhile as for the Tigs, here's hoping you can make your 'once in a generation' final more memorable for your loyal army of fans. If some are sick of the torment they can always hope on the Hawks wagon, most Demon fans did ;)

It's nice to visit the Bay occasionally and see how the less fortunate and disadvantaged are dealing with their miserable lives. Warms my heart to know how jealous they are of our continued success. Yeh Buddys gone, was good while it lasted. As sure as the sun comes up tomorrow though i'll still be celebrating our Premiership of 2013. My avitars still drunk as a skunk.

And as sure as the sun comes up tomorrow I know that we are a happy team at Hawthorn and our next flag is not too far away either. Sucks for you i know but hey its fact. We both know it.

Now Geelong Dynasty, Kardinia Park, Cat Attack08 and JackAttack hold out your lil tin cups and i'll toss you a bit of loose change on the way out to ease your pains. Btw wheres MaryJames is she off tending her watermelon insertion farm. Not to worry spread the cheer for me will ya.

Carry on sillys.

Back to celebrating no.11 :thumbsu:

It feels good to do charity work every now and then. :D

Yeah we were pretty shit in 2009/10

Geelong: 2007-2013
3 Flags from 4 Grand Finals, 2 Preliminary Finals
80.3% success rate

Hawthorn: 2007-2013
2 Flags from 3 Grand Finals, 1 Preliminary Final
68% success rate

Pretty sad that our success isnt that far apart in your greatest era :thumbsu:
*2008 Geelong couldn't kick straight
*2013 the umpires gave you the Grand final
*Hawthorns grand final wins

This gif sums it up, with Buddy as the horse and Hawthorn as the dopey woman.

Still LOLing. One of the most underrated posts, by a non-Blood, of the year so far.

Buddy the Stallion says bye bye to the Bitch that is WhoreTorn. LOLOLOLOLOL!
