Its fine to have your opinion and have high standards etc, but the one thing you need to do while doing it is to at least give credit where credit is due. Thats how constructive critique works. Otherwise no one takes your opinion seriously. You've made your point about his skills, no need to attack the other areas just because.
His kicking, handballing and awareness are shit. If thise 3 things are shit then you're a shit footballer.

He has limitations, but his workrate is elite.

We do need to more skilled players in the side, but we need to move on small forwards like Rowe, Murphy & McHenry.

There is a place for Keays as a midfielder/forward.

His work rate is elite, but his disposal is sub-par under 8's. He would have to be the worst kick in the AFL.
Every time he has the ball I am very confident it's going straight to the opposition, and it usually does.

There is just only so many Rory Atkins you can have on your list, before you say enough is enough.

Kerry Packer sold channel 9 to Alan Bond for $1bn and bought it back three years later for $250m, saying “You only get one Alan Bond in your life”

Atkins got a 5 year deal..he must be thinking “You only get one Gold Coast in your life”

How often does a player refuse to sign the contract extension put in front of him... then decide to stay...
rare as this I think

I wouldn't. Sometimes ned actually kicks straight.
Keays has kicked 25 goals, 25 points for AFC.

Murphy has kicked 56 goals, 57 points.

McHenry has 24 goals, 17 points... but then a huge chunk of his shots haven't even scored!

Not often but maybe Rankine is angling for GC to match the offer which is unlikely they can. I think Dew is just playing the game to try and extract maximum trade value for him. If they really valued him they would have offered him an offer he would have signed.

All he has to do is aim to kick it to the opposition, and it will fall in Fog’s arms!

Gotta play to your strengths.. weaknesses..whatever works..

GC won't be matching our money.
