As a woman, I totally agree. I just don't understand why nude pics of JC are being described as lewd, pornographic, disgusting. Not to mention he didn't post them on his public instagram account for everyone to see .. if they're so lewd & pornographic, why is the media sharing them? Without his consent?

I didn't say he should receive a consequence for the drug stuff. Just that they can question him about that. At this stage, from what we know, I don't see how they can justifiably ask him a single question about the nudity without it being a further breach of his privacy.

Didn't the person who shared the video of Swan in bed with him get charged for sharing that without his consent?

No I know you didn't, just saying that's probably the only thing he could or should be questioned about .. and as yet we don't know whether those captions were real or fake. If someone is out to get JC by sharing this stuff, it's not a stretch that they would also edit or add those captions to incriminate him for something more serious than nudity.

Sure did.

It will be interesting to see where this story goes by the end of the week and what the AFL integrity unit does. The Age has backed off and toned it down from their initial reporting and it seems only the Murdoch press is now going hard on the salacious angle and digging for more, no other news outlet is doing the same. That says it all really.

Ex-Cats player sues club over alleged gang rape, failing to protect him from sexual abuse

The Geelong Football Club is being sued by a former footballer who claims he was gang r*ped by three older players at a Cats’ residence for country recruits.

A former Geelong footballer has accused a trio of players of a historic gang rape as he sues the Cats for failing to protect him from sexual abuse.
The ex-player claims he was just 15 or 16 when he was cornered in the shower at the club’s Aberdeen House, a residence for country recruits, and sexually assaulted by three older athletes in the early 1980s.

The man, a prominent Indigenous Elder now in his late 50s, filed Supreme Court action against the Cats this week for a trial by jury, claiming the club had a “duty to take reasonable care of his welfare, safety and supervision” while he was living at the football house as a minor.

“My client has shown a lot of courage and strength in coming forward about his abuse,” said Arnold Thomas & Becker lawyer Angela Di Carluccio.

“He is a proud and well respected Indigenous man who has fought hard in his life to overcome his trauma and to contribute positively to his community.”

The former sportsman, who does not wish to be named, had played for the club’s Under 19s side but left the game soon after the alleged assault.

In documents before the court, he claims the Cats were “vicariously liable for the abuse” because they employed the three alleged perpetrators.

Those three players have not been named in the writ, and have not been added as co-defendants.

“(Geelong FC) placed senior players in a position where they had authority, power, trust, control and the ability to achieve intimacy over the plaintiff, which afforded them the opportunity to abuse (him),” the document states.

“The Plaintiff was vulnerable by reason of his age, displacement from family and dislocation from his home.”

The writ, which has been served to the club, also alleges that Geelong FC failed to protect minors from abuse, to separate minors from adults at Aberdeen House, to supervise the house parent and provide channels to report incidents.

As a result of the alleged assault, the ex-player claims to have suffered a psychiatric injury that led to a loss of earnings and earning capacity, and medical and like expenses.

Ms Di Carluccio said the Cats had “a duty to care for his welfare and safety” while he lived at the property.

“There was a failure to properly supervise Aberdeen House or separate my client from players who were adult men,” she said.

A Geelong FC spokeswoman said the club was unable to comment.

During a recent sale of Aberdeen House, the vendors reported that people in the community would walk up to them and tell them of the Cats’ link to the property, and that they “went to some wild parties here”.

A listing agent selling the home in 2021 told the Geelong Advertiser it was purchased by the club during its 1963 premiership year, and operated as a residence for country players.

Maybe someone 'has it in for him', but in this day and age when people can make a buck from selling videos to media outlets or from posting in social media, you have to expect that if you leave dubious videos or texts lying around, chances are someone is going to exploit your foolishness. Unfortunately not everyone is a Collingwood supporter seeking to protect Jack's reputation. If he has made new videos then he obviously hasn't learned from experience. I have little sympathy for him but plenty of it for myself and supporters who will suffer if he is suspended.
 
As for doing nudes and the like, seriously who gives a stuff if it is all consensual?

My contempt for the media, especially Murdoch, has reached the pure white heat of a nova with this one. Their hypocritical holier than thou confected bullshit to sell clicks is destructive, grotesque, and immoral and every last ****ing one of them should be fed slowly feet first into a blast furnace while being pelted with rotten fruit.

The "new" video the Herald Sun claims is when Crisp was 19 and at Brisbane. So they are now bringing up stuff that happened 9 years ago.

Regardless of whether it's dumb or naive or stupid or whatever, it's still a criminal act to share intimate images without consent.

If the videos are from a decade ago, I doubt any action will be take against him.

Not sure mate. No expert by any means.
Crisp I gather posted on snapchat.
May have tried to delete shortly after although saved by a few others.
Don't know the full details.
He screwed up though.
