This is one kid i have been waiting to see.
A natural forward who can find his way around he goals.....been way too long to see something like this.
He's a beautiful set shot too. If he can adjust to the pace and defensive requirements of AFL footy we might have found an excellent value small forward, something I can't remember us having done in the last decade. I can't wait to see if him and McCreery can work well together next year.

The top small forwards in the game seem to be usually picked up late in the draft or as a rookie selection.

He’ll be a low possession type opportunist early on, I think. He knows how to kick a goal and definitely knows how to ‘Selwood’ a free kick. Hope people give him the time he will require at the top level to develop. Has missed a number of weeks of footy.

It doesn't matter where the fck they come from as long as they come to us.

Can anybody remember where in the draft out greatest recent midfielder came to us from?

The man matters not the number or the origin.

I dont care how Ginni gets his goals, so long as he gets them. He can be an annoyance, an opportunist, an arrogant little twerp who picks up cheapies - I couldn't care less. It may not please the purists, but we are desperate for a small forward of his ilk.

Horrible time to make a debut, but all the best to the kid.

I have the feeling Ginni loves the underdog status of the team - he reminds me of my - sadly passed - best mate.

I lost count of the amount of times he got Normy and I in deep doo doo and ended up perched on some bird's lap whist we dealt with the consequences of his smart mouth.

At one stage we were banned from a dozen rock pub venues lol.

Papley isn't a smart arse. Just a gun who gets front and centre every time and then times his run beautifully.
Funnily I like Green and think Papley is dick.
I hope that Ginavan is a Medhurst/Sidebottom type player.
Honest, skilled and absolutely loves his footy.

Liked it, but is there such a thing as a Medhurst/Sidebottom type of player?
It's about the enjoyment they take from the game and the enjoyment they supplied.;)

Yep, it's a player whose strength is his marking for a medium tall, but he also rarely goes for the mark because he loves to crumb. He's a permanent forward who is usually played in a midfield due to his great endurance, and one who is an elite kick but his kicks often drop short of their target.

Is it true that Tohill is a Roughhead/Noble type of player?
