Just an opinion. Would you have him ahead of McCeery, J Daicos, N Daicos, Ash Johnson, Josh Thomas next year?

Josh is a mid, Ash is a mid-tall sized forward, and I’d have him in ahead of Thomas.

I think Ginnivan can fit alongside Henry, N Daicos, McCreery and Elliott, with Cameron, Mihocek and Johnson. Elliott and Daicos ideally spending time in the midfield, and our youth playing some VFL.

But yes, ahead of Josh Thomas undoubtedly

God yes Thomas is still living of that season he had in . . .'18 was it?

It’s game 1, he’ll need at least 30 before we can form a certain opinion about him

Too late. I've already decided.

He is gonna be a player. I had a chuckle when he milked the free, heh and set up a goal. Set up about 2 goals. Just doesn't panic. I felt he looked comfortable for a 1st gamer, even though he didnt' get much of it. But when he did, and the things he did when without the ball showed enough.

To those writing him off after one game would your opinion change if 2-3 of the below eventuated?
  • Cameron gave off the quick handball when he was metres clear of his opponent and running direct on goal in the first minute of the match. Instead of Mihocek kicking the first from that play it could easily have been Ginnivan.
  • Had he kicked the goal instead of giving it off to DeGoey. He's kicked goals from that angle and further out in the twos.
  • Sidebottom not ignored him in preference to taking a cramped snap himself that went out on full
