Was great on par with the roar for Cox every time he went to the bench after each of his goals.

Didn't seem much different to the ones they don't pay either. And the umps paid him a free. How was the roar
Funny that. It's almost like they thought they probably owed him one.Didn't seem much different to the ones they don't pay either.
Yeah, I was on the other side of the ground, so didn't quite hear that noise for that. Was great on par with the roar for Cox every time he went to the bench after each of his goals.
definitely similar to last week's one, except they finally realised they should actually pay it.Didn't seem much different to the ones they don't pay either.
It was pretty cute...that whole side stood up and cheered every time he went to the bench.Yeah, I was on the other side of the ground, so didn't quite hear that noise for that.
Thats great. He has a fairly good game.It was pretty cute...that whole side stood up and cheered every time he went to the bench.
Very good value. And all 23 or under. Ginni being the youngest. Our small forward brigade are a rookie, pick 44 and a second rounder. And they are up there with the best. Obviously
Not Greene, rankine or papley level. But what bargain pick ups theyāve been, and all still have lots of development in them
He didn't duck at all I thought in this one. He was taken high before he had a chance reallyFunny that. It's almost like they thought they probably owed him one.
I didn't think he ducked either. But it doesn't seem to make any difference to the umps either way. So just glad he finally got paid one & it might just stop oppo players thinking they have the license to rip his head off.He didn't duck at all I thought in this one. So do many players but they get the frees. That's the point.Plus he puts mayo on them. So it looks suss and is really bloody hard to umpire, as high contact isn't enough to get a free, it's got to be high contact that isn't self created.
Has to nail his chances. Should have kicked 4Thats great. He has a fairly good game.

Query the decision to go around the corner from 40 out. Makes the target a lot smaller to time the curve from that far out.Has to nail his chances. Should have kicked 4

Wonder if any players have ever gone through the exercise of checking their fields of dispersion with straight kicks versus round the corners at certain distances?
I think it's a bad call - accuracy might be just as high, but it brings in not making the distance as well. He only just missed though and he'd miss a fair percentage of drop punts from that distance as well.He prob thought he has done it before. But think there was a game last year. GC? Not sure. He tried to snap from 40 and missed as well and commentators criticised he should have done a set shot

I hope that all these fellas have spent enough time kicking(and monitoring the results) to know what works best from different parts of the ground. But I am a little doubtful that they have(the monitoring piece). He prob thought he has done it before. But think there was a game last year. GC? Not sure. Exactly - must be a role for the coaches here - if there's a fair amount of daylight between the vertical uprights then use a straight line approach rather than a cute curve - Matthew Lloyd talked about this recently - he didn't lose his shape often when kicking for goalI don't understand why they go the curving snap when they don't need the curve, rather than a straight top spinner - that distance is an issue for both though.
He is a beautiful set shot and a straight kick would have been the best solution but to me, he looked like his confidence was shot when he missed that first one. I'll back him in to do better next week.Query the decision to go around the corner from 40 out. Makes the target a lot smaller to time the curve from that far out.
