Trained in the midfield today. And a bit off half back. Just adding to his defensive and stoppages craft.
Coaches were quite happy.

Pretty sure I suggested this a few weeks ago!

His effort is good but needs to get rid of his bad habits, they aren’t frees anymore, needs to stand up in tackles and dish off skilfully - he has the ability

He cops this type of s**t every time he plays in the VFL. These little pricks wear it as a badge of honour.
You can tell they were chomping at the bit for the opportunity. Don't think they could have swooped on him quicker if they tried...

As far as the commentary that he looks disinterested goes, I see that as well, but don't underestimate how energy sapping and draining the extra attention he cops from both the umpires and the opposition week in week out would be

The umpires drain him of energy? That’s a new one…

Never getting awarded a free kick when they're as obvious as dog shit would be incredibly frustrating. Getting ludicrous frees paid against you, like he had in the Eagles game, would also be incredibly frustrating & dare I say, draining.

Not to mention never getting any protection from the umpires as was obvious today.

Worthless pricks that know they'll never make it.
There is a weird piss weak attitude about this that riddles through amateur football at all levels.

In my local league, former AFL listed players have always copped extra cheap shots and last year an ex Pies player in the league, who’s a teammate of my best mate, had his jaw broken in a king hit and was forced to retire.

Unsurprised that Ginnivan is being targeted down there by these plonkers in the VFL but luckily our boys are always eager to fly the flag

This is what I was saying last year, he brings it on himself. If you can’t handle the pressure then stop attracting attention. The tackling is a disgrace, can’t believe how unfairly treated he is.

I don’t think he has the commitment and mental strength required to play at the level. He gave up footy midway through his development years to play netball…he strikes me as a type that doesn’t have the requisite dedication and is struggling. I wouldn’t be surprised if he gave the game away.

There are lots of thugs in amateur footy who use it as an excuse to start fights without being arrested.

Without a doubt.

I wish he was playing seniors .

We are a bloody good side .

Hopefully we win it in 23

Alot of good players will be unlucky and probably decide to move on

Hope ginivan stays and proves alot of ppl wrong .

I get bagged for wanting to rest players and rotate squad.

But doing this gets players liki ginni some important game time and confidence if required in finals
