LOL no way he’s making the Cats side

He probably would on the odd occasion hes fit but our forward line is our strongest line i dont really see the need. Would rather invest our cap elsewhere.

I remember listening to when Rocket Eade was his coach at the Gold Coast say he who would have loved one of him on all 3 lines - super talented he is. Just hasn’t been fit enough for long enoigh to really show it consistently.

Geelong would seem an unusual fit, of all the clubs he could go to, though. But then again, he’s probably not the worst depth.

I’m not convinced he suits Fremantle but he does seem likely to go there.

Geelong look like they are now the favourites to land jack Martin

Jack Martin did a medical with the Cats this week.
I'm assuming Gary Rohan replacement

This is similar to the Jack Steven recruitment.
They get him for nothing so little risk.

But his body is made of rice paper and if he breaks down then so be it.

His on field work looks great offensively, but I struggle to see him lifting his defensive intensity to Scott’s standards. Unless he’s given liberty to be the one the runs ahead of the ball for the easy give, while others do the hard two way running?

It's actually a change in strategy. Haven't traded in a bloke over 30 in like 4 years

If he comes it’s with little or no risk. If we can get him on the park then he’s a damaging, talented player. If not then he’ll be gone after a couple of seasons at worst (can’t imagine we’d offer him anything more than 2 years).

Assuming Geelong/Fremantle recruit him, would Jack Martin be the first three club player in AFL history to have never been traded?
