Re: Jack Riewoldt

Will probably end up with 7 or 8. Rarely does a player consistenly give the same amount of goals each quarter for a game.

Absolutely riveting stuff. For once the Tigers have a slew of young talent that actually promises. This could be akin to Lockett dragging a hopeless Saints outfit into finals.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

Love this bloke, leading the Coleman with 40 for the year now! Obviously Pav and Fev still to play, but a fine effort.:thumbsu:

Re: Jack Riewoldt

ya gotta remember the eagles players have been diabolical, how is he so strong, he doesnt even look that big

Lol, he's the same size as his cousin. Except a couple kg's lighter...

And Nick is pretty bloody massive.

Funny how everyone thinks Nick is like 5cm and 20kg's larger.

But yeah, good to see him going well. :thumbsu:

Re: Jack Riewoldt

Martin 14 touches and a goal in the first quarter - doesn't go too bad either.

For once Richmond fans may have something to look forward to again. I hope so. They've stood by their club long enough.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

Who is Jack Riewoldt playing on?

It might explain a bit if it's Schofield.

Even Simon Beaumont kicked eight in a half.

Why are Carlton supporters deluded.
You would not want him because you have Setanta and Henderson who are better players don't you.
Why don't you give credit where it is due.
I am watching the game now on Foxtel and the kid is exciting to watch.
He is better than any forward Carlton have on their list.
You would poach him tomorrow if you could.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

He's playing on duds, but sheesh he has really lifted his game this year. Will be a gun KPF in a few years time...he's already tearing up the competition and he's what, 21?

Combined with delivery from Cotchin, Deledio and Martin = awesome to watch.

Exciting stuff for Richmond.

Agree completely. Full marks to those in control at Tigerland.

A strong Tigers team playing exciting footy is worth far more to the competition in the short term than GC or WS will be, too. They could probably add 200 000 to annual attendances at a minimum.

Re: Jack Riewoldt

Jacky boy is on fire! great to watch! first he touches up mckenzie, then scholfield then embley.

I hope he kicks 8 - 10 today.
Will probably never be Nick but he is definantly not living in his shadow anymore as Nicks cousin.

You may have played a good side Fireman, but it's not known yet.

We aren't the side we were early in the season, as our attack on the player and ball would've shown you.

Hardwick has done more in 8 months to develop this side than Wallace did in 5 years.

I agree with this. Even when we played you I thought there was something a bit "different" about the Tigers team. Yes we won by a stack, but there were little flashes where I could see that the Tigers had a different attitude to footy. Firstly it looked like there was a plan that was understood and mostly stuck to by all of your players. Secondly, when I've watched the Tigers in the past I've thought that there were too many players hanging outside the packs waiting for the easy possession - that was a lot less evident this time around.

Probably not explaining myself very well here. Glad the Tigers can see a light at the end of the tunnel though.
