I'm really starting to dislike this bunch of capricious campaigners that we know as the Footy Gods.
Clearly the club is cursed.
The evidence would suggest that the curse started kicking in when we signed Leigh Colbert from Geelong.
That was our Icarus moment.
Next thing we are signing Lance Picioane and the club became the Leyland Bros of the AFL.
Cursed I tells ye.
Now, there is only one surefire way to end the curse and that is human sacrifice.
But Colbert seems like a decent bloke.
And, selfishly, I don't want a lack of pilots to ruin my upcoming trip to somewhere warm.
Another sacrificial lamb is needed.
Latest research indicates offering up Kane Cornes in Colbys old jumper would be a suitable alternative.
The curse gets lifted and joy abounds.
