He looked pretty much like the same player as Sinclair to me.

Did okay for a kid not ready yet. Puts his head over the ball and seems to enjoy the contested ball. Injuries permitting he will need to work hard to be best 22 even next year, but we have something to work with.

I think the conditions suited him - not being an avid 2nds watcher not sure what his pace and skills are like normally.

We got he next 1-2 years to develop him in the ressies, always was gonna be a 3-4 year project according to draft scouts.

Got on him, could be the next Benny J.

Pace real good and skills are alright better then a fair few at the Pies but not elite, first part of your post is spot on.

Couldn't ask for anything more from a debut player. Showed us great pace, solid fundamentals and all around solid style.

Give him some more games and he might actually display something spectacular. Who knows.

He had most of his possessions in the last quarter, when the game was on the line, that was the most impressive part.

He also shut down his opponent, which is his strength.

Earned himself at least one more year on the list now.

He was I think one of the youngest in his draft year, and it showed. Needed more development especially some strength, and long term injuries in his first year didnt help.

I think he is one you almost pencil in as in effect a season younger than he is when deciding where his development is at as a result.

Still very light and i cant wait for him to put on more size as he will be hard to beat in time :)

I thought he lifted in the last quarter, and had some good possessions. Mainly handballs, but when the whole side lifted to get us over the line, Ramsay followed. Well played.

Just watched the replay, and as others have noted, Ramsay was right in it in the last quarter, which was high pressure intense football. He had 7 or 8 touches in that quarter, great stats for a kid in his first AFL game. As a VFL watcher, I have to say he surprised me. Did not look out of place in the seniors, definitely has some substance for us to work on and develop. Could be 4 out of 4 for Hine in the 2012 draft.

Edit: make that 5 out of 5, if we count Frost from the rookie draft.

Agree, Never Dominated at VFL Level but Did not look out of Place in the last Qtr

Huge opportunity for him with Scharenberg and Macaffer injured next year.

If he builds his tank over the off-season, he could be a tagging option. Or Marley could play more midfield, leaving a spot for him as a back pocket.

Just needs to really build his tank so he is super fit and can run with the competitions fittest.

He is not a huge disposal winner, so he needs to be really fit and great 1 on 1 to hold his spot.
